1. Tolerance
Learning to tolerate others is to learn to be kind to yourself. Resentment can only keep our souls living in darkness forever; tolerance can make our souls free and liberated.
It was an ordinary autumn day. I wore a pair of white sweatpants that my mother had bought for me and went to school in high spirits. When I got to school, many teachers and classmates praised me for my white pants. I felt very proud and felt very chic today.
That day, there happened to be a physical education class. Because I was so excited, I didn't realize that I was wearing white pants, so I started playing. At that time, a few girls and I were playing basketball, and suddenly a figure came out. I passed the ball without seeing it clearly. It was too late to say, but it was quick to say that Qiu hit his clothes impartially. I took a closer look and saw a black mark as big as a sesame seed cake on the light blue shirt of the unfriendly classmate. I apologized hastily, but he got so angry that he kicked me twice on the legs, leaving two deep footprints on my white pants. In the past, I would have retaliated against him, but this time I calmed down unexpectedly. I don't know what force suppressed my inner anger and continued to play ball... After school, the classmates went home one after another. This is when I found a classmate who was looking for something anxiously. I walked over enthusiastically, and when I saw it, it was the classmate who kicked my pants. I turned around and wanted to leave, but then I thought: Why bother! Just help him find it together and leave him embarrassed. When I enthusiastically reached out to help, I was greeted by the grateful smile of the classmate, and my heart was filled with warmth and happiness.
I remember another time, when I just walked out of the class, two junior high school students who came to the elementary school bumped into me. I just heard them yelling: "You are looking for a fight!" When I heard this, my face turned red with anger: It was obviously you who bumped into me, but you are still so confident. It is really unreasonable. I was about to get angry, but then I thought: Forget it! Don't worry about it. I smiled and said, "I'm sorry!" Then I looked at the unreasonable middle school student who was so embarrassed that he walked away slowly. I was also inspired by the fact that tolerance can change people's nature!
When one foot steps on the petals of violet, he leaves the fragrance on that foot. This is tolerance. A mental patient broke into a doctor's home and shot his three teenage daughters, but he still cured the mental patient's illness. This is also tolerance. If a person chooses to care, he will spend the rest of his life in darkness; if a person chooses tolerance, he can spread the sunshine to the earth. As the old saying goes: "If you know you've made a mistake, correct it, and you'll never do much good." In this case, why can't we be tolerant when faced with the mistakes a person makes unintentionally? When our hearts choose tolerance for ourselves, we gain the freedom we deserve, because we have put down our burdens. No matter whether we face friends or enemies, we should give them a sweet smile. Tolerance can make friends. When you can tolerate others' mistakes with an open-minded and bright mind, you will naturally have more friends. Let us be more tolerant, make life easier and more enjoyable, and let us have more friends.
To be tolerant of others is to liberate yourself and return your soul to purity.
