Wuzhou Zhongshan Park
National AAA-level tourist attractions. Located in Beishan in the center of Wuzhou, formerly known as Chashan. 1924, Wuzhou Commercial Port Bureau opened Beishan as Beishan Park. To commemorate Sun Yat-sen's three trips to Wuzhou, the people of Wuzhou laid the foundation stone to build the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall on 1926, which was completed on 1930 and merged with Beishan Park. The park was renamed Zhongshan Park, and it has been in use ever since. The park is built on the mountain and covers an area of 25.29 hectares. The trees in the park are lush, the green is neat, the winding path is secluded, and all kinds of scenery are integrated. In 2003, with the investment of the municipal government, Zhongshan Park was rebuilt on a large scale, and a characteristic park with Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall as the main body and integrating sightseeing, leisure, fitness and entertainment was built. The main scenic spots in the park include: national key cultural relics protection units, the earliest built Zhongshan Memorial Hall, Zhongshan bronze statue, Chen Zhongting, Beiyuan, Dabai, Mingxiu Garden, Wei Buqun Memorial Hall, Banshan Pavilion, Jibei Pavilion, and stone chambers in Ming Dynasty. There are more than 100 kinds of main plants in the park. Zhongshan Park is a key park in Guangxi and the earliest park built in Wuzhou.
