"Photographic Hero" Chen Fuli
Before the reform and opening up, there were four large-scale photosensitive factories in China, one of which was located on berm road in Shantou. It is called A.D. Later, some time ago, it cooperated with Fuji, Kodak and Baoding Le Kai. In short, Shantou people have forged an indissoluble bond with the photosensitive industry. My parents used to be sensitive to light, so they naturally know something about photography and have a superficial aesthetic understanding of the art of photography.
Although he is not a professional photographer, the person to be introduced below has loved photography all his life. People all over the world are amazed at his great achievements. His more than 200 works have won various international awards. He is the "Top Ten in the World" in photography. He is Mr. Chen Fuli, who is famous for his perfect combination of landscape photography and Chinese painting.
[Reprinted] Interview with Chen Fuli, a famous Hong Kong photographer, "Danqing is colorful in the mirror"
(Chaoshan Chaoren Net at home and abroad, Author: Tongren)
/kloc-0 In the winter of 1979, Mr. Chen Fuli, the vice chairman of China Photographers Association and a famous Hong Kong photographer, held a photography art exhibition in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou successively, which was a great success and opened the eyes of the audience.
As early as the early 1950s, Mr. Chen made his mark in the film circle, and his works attracted people's attention with exquisite composition and fresh artistic conception. He has lived in Hong Kong since 1955. At this time, the photography atmosphere in Hong Kong is flourishing, and his creative enthusiasm is growing.
1982 In the spring, in the hall of the personal photography exhibition held in Boston, USA, a series of excellent photography works full of China traditional poetry and painting attracted thousands of visitors from all over the world. Every day, the audience is enthusiastic, amazed and lingering. In front of a photographic work called "Battle", people were crowded. After seeing this work, one of the overseas Chinese was deeply moved and burst into tears, muttering, "Yes! This is how China people who go abroad struggle like a boat in the sea. This is a hard road, and it is also the only way for winners ... "Struggle" shows people that in the stormy sea of Wang Yang, a leaf is alone, impacted by bad waves, ups and downs, and dark clouds are rolling in the sky, which is full of potential. "Sailors in the same boat, turn the tide, fight with paddles, and strive to death! This is a thrilling scene, affecting every nerve of people, making people feel like breathing with the fate of sailors in a lonely boat. Mr. Chen Fuli, who filmed this work, has a positive and firm belief in the struggle of life and a lofty pursuit of art ... After the exhibition of his works expired, it was postponed for three and a half months, setting a record for the American photography exhibition.
Chen Fuli's works have won more than 200 gold, silver, gold, silver and bronze prizes in international photo competitions in the United States, Britain, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, India, Canada, New Zealand, Chile, Finland, Austria, Portugal, Yugoslavia, Czech Republic, Malaysia and Singapore. His works have been exhibited in more than 20 provinces and cities in Hongkong and China. Chen Fuli started as a shop assistant and businessman and worked hard by himself. After more than 40 years of hard work, he became a world-famous photographer. From 1957, it was listed in the annual statistics of global international film festivals by the American Photographic Society for five consecutive years 10. This is really something. He is not a professional photographer, but an amateur photographer who focuses on business and takes photography as a vice, which is more difficult. Just like his work "Fighting", his road to artistic success is a struggle. His unique innovation in photography, combining landscape photography with China's paintings, opened up a new road for photo photography, China. As Master Liu Haisu commented on his photography art: "Liv photography aims to keep the truth, explore and innovate constantly." The bracket part is another article, written by Zhou, which is a passage in "Biography-the lens searches all over the world, and the photo photography becomes a family". In order to make readers know more about Mr. Chen's international influence, the editor of this article specially combined the two articles into one. )
The author visited the photographer with questions such as how his artistic path came and the photographer's feelings.
Mr. Chen Fuli, aged 64, was born in Chaoan, Guangdong, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. When Chen Fuli was still in his teens, like many elders, he left his hometown and went to Nanyang. At first, when I was an afterlife and a shop assistant, I begged for two meals a day and one night. I don't have any hobbies. I am bored. I just learned to play mahjong, and I often have bad luck. The last two bags are empty. Later, he made up his mind to get out of the "square city" composed of mahjong, plunge into the embrace of nature, pick up the camera bought from the second-hand market and learn to take pictures!
He remembered Chen Fuli's brief introduction. It was during this period that he filmed a meaningful work: Broad Sky. A flock of seagulls flew to one side, but one seagull, which occupies an important position in the picture, flapped its wings in the other direction, showing its unique style. As soon as the photo was published, he wrote the words "I am willing to go against the wishes of others", which clearly declared his determination to get rid of the mediocre life and move towards serious artistic creation!
We saw a beautifully bound photo album edited by Mr. Chen himself. When we appreciate some works of his youth, we seem to have touched his complicated mentality at that time. Due to the bumpy road of life and the ups and downs of environmental changes, the artistic conception of his works in the mirror is sometimes bright and sometimes dark, sometimes overemphasizing the expression of personal feelings, and sometimes attaching great importance to objective realism; Sometimes I use the topic to play, borrow other people's glasses to pour a lump in my chest, and sometimes I pursue form and tend to be beautiful ... but in general, the basic style is more cheerful, which will inspire and teach people more or less and enjoy beauty.
Many experts say that Chen Fuli is a photographic artist who likes to drink soup. That is to say, he doesn't want to learn from others in art and walk behind others. Just to give an example: last year, despite his advanced age, he declined the kind advice of his peers and went to "have soup" again. As the first photographer in Hong Kong, he took artistic photos in * * *. Here, he overcame the breathing difficulties caused by thin air and lack of oxygen; Overcome language barriers, traffic jams, acclimatization and other obstacles, and immerse yourself in the joy of hard artistic creation. In addition to capturing many landscapes and people, in order to photograph the precious cultural relics of the world-famous Potala Palace, he climbed onto the roof of the tall building and sat on it for a long time, waiting for the ideal background (such as clouds) to shoot ... In this way, he didn't return home full of food until 7: 00 in the morning. He said: "Precious cultural relics are national treasures, so we must try our best to shoot them well."
Wandering in the cloister of the film festival, Chen Fuli's original works are really dazzling-a lotus flower, unlike many people's, he always shoots a lot of lotus flowers side by side, but there is only a brief introduction of Chen Fuli, hidden under the dense lotus leaf, and the lotus flower does not seem to stand out, but becomes more and more prominent; In order to express the theme of opposing the unjust war, he did not take the usual scene of "corpses lying everywhere", but took a special shot: a white dove stood under the barbed wire and showed an innocent look, which made the theme extremely profound ...
From the perspective of photography technology, a moving photo is only hunted in an instant, even a few hundredths of a second. At first glance, it seems that "it can be done easily", but it contains the author's painstaking efforts! "Huangshan returns without looking at the mountains." In order to see the charm of this famous mountain, he climbed the peak of Huangshan Mountain three times from 18 years ago. In order to see the true face of Lushan Mountain, he climbed to the top of Guling Mountain from the "road" with no road at all. For more than 00 years, he has traveled all over Huangshan, Jinggangshan, Jiuhuashan, Wuyishan, Tianshan, Taihang and Taishan. ...
A colleague who followed Mr. Wang around the world once said with deep feelings: "Mr. Chen is an artist and a body with despair." In this regard, Teacher Chen said such a thing:1In the winter of 977, Mount Emei at an altitude of 3,000 meters was covered with snow and ice. The receptionist on the mountain has withdrawn from the mountain for the winter. However, Mr. Chen Lao has a heart for "Luo Jing", so he has to climb the mountain through the snow. At that time, the temperature was-10 degrees, and there was snow everywhere, making it difficult to walk. For a person who has lived in the south for a long time and has never even snowed, this taste is really "not fun". But what a brave photographer! I saw him with three lightweight cameras with different focal lengths. Before leaving, he drank a few glasses of wine to warm himself up, then braved the cold and snow, climbed the stairs and went straight to the famous mountain to explore his victory. In the evening, he stayed in a drafty wooden house. At dawn, he immediately got up and captured the rare wonders such as the sunrise in Emei ... Speaking of this, Teacher Chen took a sip of hot tea and said happily: "The ancients said that nothing ventured, nothing gained, and such a small nest in art is worth exploring; Art is an advertisement that does not automatically enter the photographer's mirror box. Say goodbye to Mr. Chen. These thought-provoking "artistic essentials" have always been in my heart and will not be forgotten for a long time.
