During that time, although I was not as carefree as I was at school, I had a good time.

By chance, I passed Xinhua Bookstore and looked at the newly renovated facade and the glass reflecting mysterious light. I really wanted to go in and have a look, so I pushed open the glass door. The "dark and empty" bookstore is neatly arranged with new bookshelves covered with dust. Only a few rows of bookshelves that enter the door are sparsely placed with "old books" that have nothing to do with me, and there are not many people in the whole bookstore. The owner has everything, and I can only describe it with the above four words. Pirated books are rampant. There are few genuine books in small bookstores, but pirated books can be seen everywhere. Because of piracy, it is sold very cheaply. For ordinary consumers, they naturally don't care whether the book is genuine or not, so they never enter the pirated Xinhua Bookstore, and no one will patronize it.

The economy of the small town has just started, and the people's lives are not well off. Therefore, the spiritual demand is not strong, so the wage earners who earn money will not be willing to spend money to sell books. People who buy books are all students, but they don't make money themselves. Think twice before spending money. "Xinhua" will naturally not be a good place.

There may be more important reasons, but I think these three points are enough to ruin the future of Xinhua Bookstore. If we don't make progress and make progress, in a few years, I think there will be no Xinhua in our county.
