Located in Ramat Gan, Israel, this project is an art and science primary school. It changed the traditional learning environment from sarini Shahi.
The design concept of the entrance hall is inspired by the unique personality of the school. As an art and science school, it focuses on different fields: visual arts, drama, music, dance and science. 120 square meters public * * * field surrounds four first-grade classes and forms a game activity area through different venues.
The environment encourages space consciousness, and the black and white chessboard floor in the center of the hall stimulates children's game movement and improves their physical function.
The central wall is designed with a large magnetic plate, like the pages of a notebook, with rows of colored wooden pencils beside it, on which children can arrange letters, numbers and geometric figures. The other corner is the audio game corner. A big screen, like a big mouth, is embedded in the robot's head to realize interactive games. Children can choose their favorite music games and movies.
The music corner is set in a wooden drum, and children can choose music at will and listen to it with headphones. The dance area is located behind the drum, including the stage and practice platform, which provides space for rehearsal and performance. The reading corner and making friends area are located in a semi-enclosed wooden house, which has comfortable upholstered chairs, some movable tables, some rest spots and some libraries. They are flexible, natural wood and fresh green create a relaxed atmosphere. Furniture design conforms to children's ergonomics, creates a sense of closeness in space and encourages social interaction.
This design in the field of education eased the transition from preschool to the first grade of primary school, and generated a sense of belonging and inspiration.
