In spring, the ice and snow have just melted, and many delicate flowers are still hiding in the greenhouse. However, the grass, like a group of lively and lovely children, playfully sticks out a small green head from the embrace of mother earth, so thin and petite, but not afraid of the cold spring, singing and dancing gently in the afternoon breeze, taking the lead in bringing people the message of spring.
In summer, when the storm came, many crops, flowers and even young trees were blown to the east and west by the wind, but the grass stood upright with its head held high, letting the wind and rain beat it. After the baptism of the storm, it became stronger and greener, covering the earth like a green blanket.
In late autumn, the leaves of grass are yellow. It takes off all its clothes and gives them to the earth without stint, so that the earth can nourish everything more effectively.
Bai Juyi's poem, "The endless grass on the grassland, year after year, has not been swallowed up by wildfire, and they have grown taller in the spring breeze", isn't it a tribute to the tenacious vitality of grass? We often see its green figure in places with soil, even in cracks in walls, in ravines and in hard crevices. And it doesn't need anyone to water and fertilize, but it breaks through the ground with amazing vitality. Wildfire, despite the devastating disaster of grass, once the spring breeze blows, it will release mountains, cross mountains, cross oceans and settle where it needs to be.
This grass can't be more common. It does not stand proudly like a tree, nor is it as graceful as a winter jasmine, but it has a very strong vitality.
I praise the grass, but also praise those who have the spirit of grass, strong will, regardless of the environment, tenacious vitality.
