However, the academic level of masters is not good, and the "character" of many masters is often questioned by future generations.

There are many famous figures, such as Hu Shi, Liang Qichao, Lu Xun, Xu Zhimo and, of course, Lin who had a love affair with Xu Zhimo. However, different people have completely different views on Lin. People who like her say she is a goddess, while those who don't like her say she is "green tea". What kind of person is she? Perhaps a passage by another master, Qian Zhongshu, can let us see that she is "unclean".

Let me first talk about why the character Lin is controversial. Lin was born in 1904. Her father Lin Changmin was the chief justice of Beiyang government, and her uncle Lin Juemin was a famous family. Born in a noble family, she is still very clever. She went to study in England and got a master's degree in architecture. She is particularly good at literature, and has written "Who loves this endless change" and "You are the April day on earth". The most important thing is that she is particularly beautiful.

There are always many bees and butterflies in front of beautiful flowers, and there are naturally pursuers in front of beautiful forests. Among them, Xu Zhimo, Jin, Liang Sicheng and others are the most famous. It is reasonable to say that it is not surprising that a beautiful woman has many suitors in her childhood. It is the season when youth blooms, and everyone will have such an experience. I can't see the ancients and Jia Jian's works:

But what is really controversial is that Lin doesn't seem to be so "loyal" to his feelings. The first time she met Xu Zhimo was in London, England, when Lin Cai 16 years old. Xu Zhimo taught her literary accomplishment, and they fell in love. 1924 During Tagore's visit to China, Lin also worked as a translator with Xu Zhimo and was regarded as "golden couple". However, Lin said shortly after marrying Liang Sicheng:

"Xu Zhimo didn't really love me at first, but he imagined Lin with the romantic mood of the poet, but in fact I'm not that kind of person."

Originally, Xu Zhimo was not a good person in "character", especially in emotion, which was very chaotic. So Lin and Xu Zhimo broke up, but no one said anything. The most controversial thing about Lin is that after she married Liang Sicheng, she kept an open and intimate relationship with another man for a long time. This person is Jin. Even after her quarrel with Liang Sicheng, she went to Jin for arbitration.

Jin Ailin was almost a well-known secret at that time, but strangely, her husband Liang Sicheng seemed to know it very well. In order to see Lin often, Jin lives near Liang Sicheng's home. Every time Lin holds a family dinner, Jin will definitely attend. This certainly made many people feel that the forest was "unclean" at that time. At the same time, Lin especially likes to invite men to his salon party.

This matter, in the eyes of many people who like Lin, is considered to be Lin's "affection, which ends with ceremony" and that Liang Sicheng is a gentleman who intends to make money. However, in the eyes of many people, Lin's behavior not only violates traditional morality, but even violates western morality. Although Qian Zhongshu has studied abroad many times and is proficient in foreign languages, he is a very traditional China person in spirit. His "Pipe Taper Compilation" is a rare modern masterpiece in the textual research of traditional culture.

What is even more enviable is that Mr. Qian Zhongshu also has a very traditional family-his love with Jiang Yang can almost be said to be a model of traditional love between talented people and beautiful women. It is love at first sight, mutual understanding and harmony in spirit, which means "high mountains and flowing water". At the same time, they went through hardships together, from an intellectual to a laborer, and even received some ridicule at that time. However, in this environment, they are inseparable.

Therefore, Mr. Qian Zhongshu, whose thoughts and love behaviors are very traditional, is very dissatisfied with Lin's behavior of wandering among many men. However, there were many people who supported Lin at that time, and they were all famous scholars and experts. It is not good for Qian Zhongshu to criticize Lin directly, but he wrote such a passage in the novel Cat, which is a description of Lin:
