1. At the foot of Tianchiling in the east of Shinan City, there is a lotus pond surrounded by five peaks. According to legend, a long time ago, it was a deserted and scorched place with few people.

One year, there was an Orion named Tan Shunshan in Dongxiang who went out with his father to sell hides. Just walked to Tianchiling, suddenly the wind was blowing hard, and Tan Shunshan was suddenly swept into the air. Then he opened his eyes and found himself lying on a soft mound. By this time it was midnight, and it was dark all around. Tan Shunshan was hungry and thirsty.

he struggled to get up, and suddenly he saw a little light in the distance, especially golden yellow. He ran to have a look, but he saw a big pond across the front. The golden light came from the water, which lit up the surrounding mountains a little. At that time, a big lotus suddenly rose in the water, and the fragrant fragrance floated from the water surface, and a forest slowly grew on the originally bare mountain around. After a while, it was getting light.

Tan Shunshan was surprised and happy, and hurried back to find his father. When I found my father, I told him about the wonders I saw last night. Father said quickly, "This is a god lotus!" " When they returned to the mountains, they quickly told the villagers about their encounter with Shenlian, and everyone invited a group to go to see Shenlian together. Later, they felt that this place was full of aura, and simply moved their home to Tianchiling with some villagers. People worked hard to make this area a land of plenty of grain and plenty of fish and rice.

This story reached the ears of Master Yu of Shinan Mansion, who thought, "Bring this lotus to the emperor, and you will surely get a high official." He quickly sent a few servants, disguised as several ordinary people, strolled to Tianchiling, and secretly picked the lotus in the dead of night.

The villagers were very anxious about the disappearance of Shenlian, and they searched around for the whereabouts. For fear of giving away the clues, Master Yu planted Tan Shunshan's father and son, tied them up and threw them into the pond ...

Later, there were seven different opinions about the whereabouts of Shenlian, and some said that Shenlian turned into a fire, and when it was burned to death, Master Yu soared to the sky. Some said that the lotus flew back to Tianchi Ridge and turned into five peaks, protecting the big pond.

People living near the big pond named their cottage "Lotus Pond" to commemorate Shenlian. The five surrounding peaks have been guarding this Shenchi for generations. Since then, this area has become a land of plenty of grain.

2. Below Suobuya is a land of fish and rice with beautiful mountains and rivers. Tujia children have been farming and working here for generations, living a well-fed life. This is today's big village.

long, long ago, there lived a Millennium fish monster in the Sun River below the mountain. It heard that Dakuai Village is a good place, where the meat is delicious, the wine is delicious, and the girl is particularly beautiful, so she became a scholar and went to Dakuai Village to have a look. The villagers received it with a banquet. After drinking tea and drinking wine, the scholar told the villagers a lot of anecdotes and interesting things outside the stockade, and the villagers listened with relish, and specially kept the scholar for a few more days.

This scholar wanders up and down the cottage all day, paying special attention to other people's beautiful big girls and little wives. One night, it turned into a fishy smell, snatched the Tujia girl who had a crush on it during the day, grabbed it into the cave for it to play with, and when it was done, it swallowed it in one gulp. The loss of women in the stockade every day makes people panic, and adults cry and children scream, which is very miserable. The crying shook Xiannv Rock.

It turns out that this Xiannv Rock is a physical change of the goddess of salt water. When the goddess saw that the fish monster had no peace with her children, she had a plan to turn herself into a very beautiful girl and live in a house in the middle of the flooded rock. Dressed up in front of the mirror during the day, singing sweet folk songs in his mouth, which attracted the fish monster to be crazy and anxious. ?

One night, taking advantage of the darkness, the fish monster turned into a red wind and went straight to Yaomei's house, trying to take Yaomei away for his own fun. That thought that the goddess of salt water was ready, rose up and dropped the monster in the water, showing her true colors and running for her life in the water. When the goddess of salt water was waiting to kill the monster, she thought again, why not leave it and teach the wicked in the world a lesson.

So he poked a hole with his finger on the rock wall in the southeast and northwest of the flooded stream, and the water in the flooded stream flowed away from the hole one after another. The fish monster can't swim without water, and can't move in the flooded stream. Over time, it dried up alive. People who live here all thank the fairies on the Xiannv Rock for saving the common people from harm.
