"Without the fragrance of flowers and the height of trees, I am just a grass that no one knows about." Whenever I think of this song, I think of the ordinary but tenacious grass that can be seen everywhere.

In spring, the ice and snow have just melted, and many delicate flowers are still hiding in the greenhouse and dare not come out, but the grass is like a group of lively and lovely children, playfully stretching out green leaves from the arms of Mother Earth. Their little heads are so thin and petite, but they are not afraid of the cold spring, singing softly and dancing in the afternoon breeze, and are the first to bring the message of spring to people.

In the summer, a storm came, and many crops, flowers, and even small trees were blown to and fro by the wind, but the grass actually held its head high and its chest high, letting the wind and rain blow by. Baptized by the storm, it grew stronger and greener, covering the earth like a green blanket.

In late autumn, the leaves of the grass withered and turned yellow. It took off all its clothes and dedicated them to the earth without hesitation, so that the earth could nourish all things more effectively.

"The grass on the original plain dries up and flourishes with each passing year. The wildfire cannot burn it out, but it grows again when the spring breeze blows." Isn't this poem by Bai Juyi a eulogy for the tenacious vitality of the grass? We usually see its green figure wherever there is soil, even in the cracks of walls, mountains, and hard rocks. Moreover, it does not need anyone to water or fertilize it, but it has an amazing effect. The vitality breaks out of the ground and wildfires are destructive disasters for the grass, but as soon as the spring breeze blows, it spreads across the mountains and ridges, across the oceans, and settles down where it is needed.

The grass is indeed extremely ordinary. It does not stand proudly like a big tree, nor is it as graceful as a blooming flower, but it has extremely strong vitality.

I praise Xiaocao, and I also praise those who have the spirit of Xiaocao, are strong-willed, do not care about the environment, and have tenacious vitality.
