The news in August last year was that BYD will provide Tesla with blade batteries in the second quarter of 2022. The news at the beginning of this year is that the Tesla model equipped with BYD battery has entered the C-type test stage, and BYD has also received the battery order of Tesla 10GWh. Judging from the contents and time nodes of the two news releases, it has indeed reached the final stage.

Generally speaking, sample A is a battery test, sample B is a battery test, and sample C is a load test. And generally speaking, after stage B, both parties will have a supply agreement, and after stage C, how many batteries to buy will be finalized. Tesla in China is eager to find a new battery, largely because the battery is too expensive.
