I think Ordinary Heroes is better.

With more realistic brushwork, this film vividly depicts the sentient and righteous social groups in China. "Ordinary Hero" is the most direct adaptation of the news event of "saving the brokeback boy in Hetian, Xinjiang". In the whole story adaptation, the director did not do too much dramatic creation, but restored the event itself as much as possible.

His appeal to screenwriter You Xiaoying is that he should not make up for editing, but present a true and meaningful story. Before Chen Guohui actually shot the film, he hesitated whether the news event was enough to support a film. To this end, he interviewed everyone who participated in the incident. Compared with the two, I think Ordinary Heroes is more touching. Personally, I think the latter is better.
