It is tempting to find the source of a big river. Since we are in Tibet, we decided to go to the source of the Yarlung Zangbo River, Gemayengzong.
Gemayengzong Glacier is 5590 meters above sea level, which is deeply hidden in the snow-capped mountains at the northern foot of the western segment of the Himalayas. It is administratively located on the border between Ali and Shigatse. This is really a wonderful place. Not far from the glacier, it is the center of the world in the hearts of Buddhism and Hindus-Rinpoche in the holy mountain and Yongcuo in Mabian in the holy lake. I don't know if it's coincidence or intentional.
The distance from Lhasa to the source is nearly 1000 km, which is the most difficult road from Tibet to Ali. We are hung upside down in a dusty carriage every day, and from time to time we have to go down and push the car stuck in the mud. Nest in the truck, the tarpaulin on the roof is blown by the wind from time to time, and you can see the blue sky and white clouds, but it actually feels like flying. 1000 km road for seven days shows the difficulty of the road.
Baiyu: Baiyu Temple, a cold wonderland occupying a mountain.
When I first saw white jade, I suspected it was a fairyland. It's a little dazzling Baiyu is located between the north line and the south line of Sichuan-Tibet Highway. It was not until the end of 1970s that the highway was built to the county seat, 99 1 km away from Chengdu. Bai Yucheng, where Tibetan compatriots live together, is not big. One main street is almost all. The streets are basically simple Kangba people. It's easy to make friends, and I have made many friends.
White Temple is located in the southwest of the county seat. Backed by a dense stone mountain, facing the clear and quiet Oko River. It is 3600 meters above sea level, with abundant rainfall, warm climate, open and flat, and lush flowers and plants. This temple, 30 kilometers north, is a famous Nianbao Shenshan scenic spot, passing through the largest gelug sect monasteries Longue Temple in the southeast of Guoluo, and it is the best tourist scenic spot in Jiuzhishan area. White Temple, named after its mother temple, is the largest temple in White, Sichuan.
Liuku: Bathing Conference
There is a well-known "Yuejinqiao Hot Spring" in Liuku County, Nujiang Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, which is famous for the "Bathroom Meeting" held every Spring Festival. This is the bath party we went to.
When we arrived in Liuku County, it was already past four in the afternoon. We rented two motor tricycles and went up the Nujiang River. Soon we arrived at Yuejin Bridge, the venue of "Bathroom Meeting". On the highway, you can see the dam with colorful flags fluttering and people buzzing. After some searching, we found an excellent camping site-a soft sand beside the Nujiang River. Not far away, there is a huge Panzhihua tree, and tears flow from the root of the tree. Smooth but not greasy, steaming, crystal clear. After setting up the camp, we couldn't wait to join in, and the dust and fatigue along the way soon disappeared. Panzhihua tree, with its huge crown, shields us from the thin rain from time to time. The surging river rushes over one meter away, holding a bottle of beer in his left hand and a chicken wing in his right hand, chatting with God and telling anecdotes, so happy as a fairy!
When I woke up, in the thin morning light, the charming women in twos and threes came to the pool to take a bath, washing away the hard work and good luck for a year. Just take off your clothes and go into the water naturally, enjoy the charity of nature, and don't mind at all because we are around and don't object to us aiming the camera at them. It is said that the previous custom was that men, women and children took a bath with him, which was natural and simple, without any selfish distractions. Later, due to the development of tourism, more and more tourists came. The local government ordered men and women to bathe in different pools. Now the male compatriots are taking a bath in another spring 100 meters away.

Tuva: Time just needs killing.
In the beautiful Hanas Lake in Xinjiang, there are more than 2000 secret residents. They have been living an isolated life in Hanas, which is rich in water and grass. No one knows their past and future. They are Tu Tu people.
Tuwa people belong to one of the oldest nomadic peoples in northern China. Now, Hepburn Village, which belongs to Burqin County near Hanas Lake, is a village with the largest number of Tuwa people, the most concentrated people and the most complete national tradition. Harmony village is also the farthest and one of the only three Tuwa villages without roads. It is nearly170km from Burqin County to Hemu Village, and it passes through alpine valleys, forest grasslands and vast Gobi along the way. At present, only large trucks and jeeps can enter and leave.
When we came to Harmony Village, the first thing that caught our eye was the log cabin and cattle, which combined with mountains, forests, grasslands, blue sky and white clouds to form a unique natural and cultural landscape. In a sense, these huts have become the symbol of Tuwa people. During the snow closure period of nearly half a year, most of them were buried in the soil to resist the cold, which was particularly primitive and simple and had the traditional characteristics of nomadic people. Generally, the roof is nailed to the eaves with wooden boards, and the single-layer logs with a diameter of 30-40 cm are used in the house, which is both warm and moisture-proof. It only takes1-20,000 yuan to build an ordinary house in the local area, and several people can build it in one month.
Tuwa people are almost still in the primitive state of nomadic period, and nothing related to modernity has yet appeared in their village. Up to now, the house is still open at night, the road is not connected, and almost no criminal cases have occurred. Their economic source is mainly animal husbandry, and the wheat they grow is also in a state of extensive management. They only sow and reap, and there is no management in the middle. They never water, fertilize or weed, but the yield per mu is actually more than 200 kilograms. Tuva people are content and live a very simple life. Time is just something to kill time for them. They have an almost adoring love for the environment. Although they were poor, none of them cut down trees, reclaimed wasteland or took a piece of bark (for making a fire).
In order to resist the cold winter of nearly half a year, Tuwa people love homemade milk wine, which is the lubricant of their lives. Not only can you often see drunken men lying outside, but there are even many girls lying on the ground after drinking. Living in Kanas for a long time, Tuwa people can only get married by close relatives, and the quality and quantity of the population have dropped sharply. According to the government's estimation, this Tuwa people will disappear in 15 years.
Medog: Being for the Joy of Conquest
Entering the Doxiongla Pass, which Medog must pass through, is covered with snow all year round. After climbing the mountain, Medog is a tropical scenery.
If conditions permit, Medog is really the place that every good tourist should go, and it is the last county in China without roads.
In the eyes of Tibetan people, Medog is a "lotus land" for religious believers to make a pilgrimage. The preferred route is to start from Petovondo Xiongla Snow Mountain, and after sweating, lagging and collapsing, you can walk to Medog in three or four days. In a few days, you have experienced everything from more than 4000 meters to several hundred meters above sea level, from cold zone to tropical zone. Here, there are many descriptions, so I won't say it. At present, this road is the main channel leading to Medog, with acceptable road surface and good physical strength. I went in June165438+1October, and I didn't see many mysterious leeches. I didn't expect it to be so difficult. I have carefully observed the peaks around the county seat, really like a blooming lotus. But, to be honest, I don't think that county is worth seeing. It's just a bunch of nondescript houses with ridiculously high prices (because everything comes in on horseback). A bottle of beer from 20 yuan and a can of Jianlibao took 10 yuan. Most locals eat canned pork, and the occasional "Cattle Killing Day" is a big day in Medog County, and everyone queues up.
Medog's car became a half-buried exhibit.
In a sense, Medog exists as a symbol. Some people say, don't talk in front of people who have been to Medog, which means there is no more difficult way in the world than to go to Medog. But Medog's road is not as terrible as the legend. I think the beauty of swimming in Medog is that you have to grit your teeth and move on.
In fact, Medog County has not never had a highway. A truck that entered that year never got a chance to drive out. Finally, the road was closed, and now this truck has only a half-buried cab, which has become a historical witness like a cultural relic. In the county government guest house in Medog (there are only a few wooden houses), there are notes of pedestrians from all over the country on the wooden wall, and there are some email addresses on it.
In fact, there are many ways to get in and out of Medog, but all of them can be described as "exploration". Without adequate preparation, it is best not to try. The reason why Medog is secretive seems to be all for those who want to experience this road symbolizing danger. Once experienced, there will be a pleasure of "I see, I conquer".
Black hole: an unknown journey.
Have you ever had such a dream: suddenly attached to the abyss in the dark, endless? ...
If you want to have such a dream in reality, I suggest you explore caves. Those endless dark caves can definitely stimulate your powerful nerves 100%. It is estimated that there are hundreds of thousands of caves underground in China, most of which belong to undeveloped "virgin land". In the southwest of China, cave landforms (also known as karst landforms) are the most concentrated areas in the world. Karst, transliteration of English karst, comes from the place name of Slovenia. "Karst" refers to the unique landscape and caves produced by the interaction between natural water and carbonate rocks.
At present, the five most dangerous and challenging exploration activities in the world are: deep-sea diving, river rafting, mountain climbing, cave diving and deep-hole exploration. We went to Panxian, Liuzhi and other places in Guizhou with a team of two geologists from China, 1 Spanish environmentalists and three Spanish cave exploration experts, and experienced the feeling of cave exploration.
My first day exploring caves was in Longtankou Cave, Nixiang, Panxian County. A miner's lamp, a bottle of mineral water and two eggs are all my equipment. But before I entered the cave, I had a duel. This hole is on a hanging wall more than 5 meters high. People had to climb up along the bare rock wall. The local villagers stood at the mouth of the cave and offered me a hand of friendship, but I was afraid to do so. Imagine that I can't find a foothold under my feet and pin my hopes on others. I'm really a little nervous. The people hanging on the rock wall, hearing the people laughing below, made my feet tremble, thinking that I would rush up and shout to explore the hole before I left, and I must not lose in the hole, so I had to get up the courage and bite the bullet.
Next, the vest I was wearing was soaked. Although my feet are shaking and my hands are shaking, I can't give up in my mouth: nothing, move on. The inner hall of Longtankou Cave is covered with rugged stones, various stone pillars and stalagmites, and the moonstone and marginal stone pool depict historical traces of 100,000 years ago. The beautiful scenery in front of us can only sigh the ingenuity of nature. There will be a wave of fear in the dark. If my battery is dead, will I be trapped in the hole? If you step on the air, will you fall into a bottomless pit? I told myself that explorers would never be tortured by darkness, but I couldn't control this emotion in my heart. When I saw the sunshine at the mouth of the cave, I wanted to cry for joy. It's hard to believe that we have been in the cave for more than six hours. As soon as I got out of the cave, I was so tired that I lay on the ground. Xavier, a Spanish environmental expert, came up to me and said, "You are great. You walked 700 meters today. " Only Professor Zhang's praise touched me. "You are like a real cave explorer."
Cave exploration and mountain climbing have many similarities, but the direction of progress is just the opposite. Cave explorers can't see the hard work of climbers and don't know where their destination is. This unknown is perhaps the greatest charm of cave exploration.
This is a quotation. I thought it belonged to the "relevant department"
