How does the dance company make money?
After 90, college students set up online game servers with others, and opened accounts on the online payment platform under false names to collect players' money. In more than a year, they made illegal profits of nearly 2 million yuan, causing direct economic losses of more than 9 million yuan to Jiuyou Company. Recently, the people of Xuhui District approved the arrest of the suspect Zhang Ming (a pseudonym) on suspicion of copyright infringement.

Online account opening is used to collect money.

The suspect Zhang Ming, like other post-90s generation, likes playing games and researching games. In 2006, while playing online games, Zhang Ming, who was still in college, met Li Dingguo (a pseudonym, at large), a network administrator of an Internet cafe in Guangzhou, and Liu Chun (a pseudonym, at large), an employee of an Internet company in Beijing. At the suggestion of Liu Chun, the three decided to start online games to make money, and finally chose the online game dance troupe which was very popular at that time. First of all, Zhang Ming registered a network domain name to set up the homepage of the private server game. Li Dingguo, who is good at computer technology, downloaded an English version of the server-side program of the dance troupe from overseas online forums, and then secretly installed it on the server of an online company working in Liu Chun for debugging.

After the private servers were set up, the three people posted advertisements in various online forums, announced the names of registered websites, claimed to operate private servers, left QQ numbers, and opened accounts in online payment platforms such as Tencent.com Caiwangtong to collect money. After online players contact them, they can get the user name and password by paying the corresponding amount through online trading platforms and online payment systems such as Caiwangtong, and enter this website to play online games and dance groups.

Call "I didn't expect to earn so much"

The division of labor between them is very clear. Li Dingguo is responsible for server setup and database maintenance, and Liu Chun is responsible for daily maintenance and security of servers. Zhang Ming is in charge of the private server forum and answers questions from players. In more than a year after the incident, the accumulated operating income of the three people was 6,543,800 yuan+0,950 yuan. Excluding the 30% commission extracted from the online payment platform, the three people made a profit of about 1.4 million. Among them, Zhang Ming earned more than 400,000 yuan. He was surprised himself. After arriving at the case, he shouted, "I didn't expect to make so much money in such a short time."

In June 2008, the technical department of Shanghai Jiuyou Company found that criminals set up private servers on the Internet to attract players and collect players' money through the online payment platform, which infringed the company's intellectual property rights and caused direct economic losses of more than 9 million yuan, so they reported the case. The investigation department locked the suspect Zhang Ming through technical means and captured him from Wuhan on February 17 this year. (Oriental Morning Post)
