"Guihe Bridge" describes the story of a Japanese prison camp during World War II, with the Japanese army conquering Nanyang as the background and the construction of Guihe Bridge as the center event. The whole play revolves around the entanglement and opposition between British, American and Japanese officers. In the film, chivalrous British officers, aggressive American officers and Japanese officers trained in Bushido are in sharp contrast.
