Brief introduction of Huayang River
Huayang River is a tributary of the north bank of the Yangtze River, located in the west of Anhui Province. It was called Yangwen River, Gulei River and Gu Lei Water in ancient times. The main tributaries in the upper reaches are Erlang River and Liangting River, which originated in Susong and flowed downstream from the southwest slope of Dabie Mountain, connecting Longgan Lake, Daguan Lake, Huang Hu Lake and Bohu Lake in series. The main tributaries in the lower reaches are Wangjiang River, Zhoutou River and Yangwan New River in the polder area along the Yangtze River, which flows into the Yangtze River from Huayang Estuary (Leikou). The trunk line flows through susong county, Taihu County and Wangjiang County, with a total length of 85.6 kilometers (excluding the length across the lake area). The drainage area is 55 1 1 km2, and rivers and lakes account for one fifth. It is customary to dig from the lake area to Huayang River, and the 39-kilometer-long section is called Huayang River. The river is regular and straight, and the minimum depth of low water is1.2m. Huayang River evolved from Gu Lei River system, and the lakes in its water system are Guleichi. Its downstream geographical location is dangerous, and it is a battleground for military strategists in history, and there have been many wars.
