History of Baotou Steel
WISCO is the first super-large steel complex built in China after the founding of New China. 1955 started construction, and was officially put into production in September 1958.

Angang, formerly known as Nanman Railway Co., Ltd., started construction on 19 16. After Japan surrendered, most of the equipment was demolished by the Soviet Union. Anshan Iron and Steel Company was established after 1948.

Baosteel Group Co., Ltd. is a super-large iron and steel complex established in 5438+0998165438+10/7, which is formed by the joint reorganization of Baosteel (Group) Company, Shanghai Metallurgical Holding (Group) Company and Shanghai Meishan (Group) Company. Baoshan Iron and Steel Company was established in 1978.

Baotou Steel is one of the key 156 projects during the First Five-Year Plan period. It is the most important iron and steel industrial base in China and the largest rare earth industrial base in China. The factory was established in 1954, and was transformed into Baotou Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. in 1998 according to the requirements of modern enterprise system.
