According to the theory of the five elements, in order to prevent Jin Mu from interacting with each other, the east and west gates of the ancient city were separated by a street, making it the only one in the ancient city of China.
Today, the streets of Shangqiu ancient city still maintain the ancient architectural style. The famous writer's "Zhuang Regret Hall" located in the ancient city attracts tourists from all directions. There are also three famous Shangqiu masters: Zhisen, Tudong and Zhangke Shangqiu Ancient City. In the south of the city, by the ancient Song River, there is a famous Baguan Pavilion engraved with the handwriting of Yan Zhenqing, a great calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. From Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, Shangqiu ancient city had two university students (prime ministers), five ministers, and a dozen assistant ministers, governors, censors and generals. Brick city covers an area of 1. 13 square kilometers, with 93 streets and ancient quadrangles, including Dacheng Hall, Minglun Hall and Zhuangregrets Hall. 1986, Shangqiu ancient city was announced by the State Council as the second batch of famous historical and cultural cities in China. 1996, the wall of Guide House was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
I come from Ningling County, Henan Province. I am proud of Henan's long history and splendid culture. I am ashamed that so far, apart from my hometown and studying in Luoyang for three years, I have hardly touched other places of interest in Henan Province. Let me start with Shangqiu, which I am most familiar with today.
The famous scenic spots in Shangqiu are Beitai and Shangqiu Ancient City. A travel agency in Zhengzhou launched a one-day tour of Shangqiu on the Internet: Shangqiu Observatory (Beitai), Shangqiu Ancient City, Mu Siheyuan, Temple, Baguanting and Yingtian Academy. I don't have the spare money to earn for the travel company, and it happens that my brother is doing business in Shangqiu. On the one hand, I can ask him to give me some help, so I decided to take this route.
On the way to Shangqiu, I saw a typical prefecture-level city, bustling and lively, but not very neat. After getting off the train, my brother received a hotel to stay, which was average but not very clean, but the accommodation was cheap: the standard room was 50 a day, and even breakfast was delivered (although breakfast was bought at the breakfast stand at the door, only a bowl of noodle soup and a few oil angle fried dough sticks).
