When backing up to the computer through the mobile assistant, the backup APP on the mobile phone will be called, and temporary files will be generated on the mobile phone during the backup, which will be automatically deleted after the backup is completed. So be sure to ensure that the remaining memory of the mobile phone is larger than the size of the data to be backed up, otherwise the mobile phone may prompt that the memory is insufficient.

It is recommended to use the original data cable and ensure that the data cable is connected stably. If the interface between the data cable and the phone or computer is loose, the backup may fail.

1. Download and install Huawei Mobile Assistant on the computer.

2. Connect the mobile phone to Huawei Mobile Assistant by using the data cable.

3. Click Huawei Mobile Assistant page data backup.

4. Select the data option to back up. If you want to encrypt the backed-up data, check Use password to back up data, and then click Start Backup.

5. The path after the backup to the computer is the storage path of the backup data, so it is recommended to keep the default to facilitate the search of the backup data in the future.

6. If using password to back up user data is checked, a prompt box for setting password will pop up. Please set the password, confirm the password, and set the password prompt. When the settings are complete, click OK to start the backup. If using passwords to back up user data is not selected, please ignore this step.

7. Password hint means that when you forget your password, you can see the password hint to help you remember it. Password retrieval is not supported. It is recommended to remember your password. If you forget your password, the backed-up data will not be restored to your mobile phone.

8. Mobile Assistant 9. 1.0.307 and above, encryption is mandatory during backup, and you cannot choose not to encrypt backup. It is recommended to remember the backup password.

9. Wait for the backup to be completed, and a completion prompt message will appear in the mobile assistant interface. Click Finish to complete the backup.
