Did Yang Guang kill his brother and father in history?
The historical records about Yang Guang's killing his father are mainly found in Sui Shu, Memorabilia, Zi Jian and other historical books.

Sui Shu Biography, Sui Shu Biography, Sui Shu Yang Su Biography, Sui Shu Liu Shu Biography, Daye Biography written by Tang and Zi Zhi Tong Jian edited by Sima Guang recorded the process of Yang Guang's killing his father:

1, Yang Guang thought that his father Sui Wendi was dying, so he exchanged letters with Su Yang to discuss how to deal with Yu Wenlong once he was a guest. As a result, Su Yang's secret letter to Yang Guang was mistakenly sent to Wendi by imperial secretary, and Wendi was very angry after reading it.

2. Yang Guang teased Mrs. Chen Xuanhua ("Dayelue" said it was the glorious Mrs. Cai), and Mrs. Xuanhua sent a message to Wendi, who scolded Yang Guang bitterly: "Animals are not enough to pay for big things! Miss me alone! " Then I asked Liu Shu and Yan Yuan to write a letter, and called Yang Yong, the former prince who had been abolished as Shu Ren, to look at it-implying the intention of abolishing it again.

3. After Su Yang heard the news, he conspired with Yang Guangxie to arrest Liu Shu and Yan Yuan in Dali Temple prison by forging letters, and quickly dispatched soldiers from the East Palace to defend Renshou Palace where Emperor Wendi was at that time, and sent Yuwen Shu and Guo Yan to control the entrance and exit of Renshou Palace. At the same time, Zhang Heng, the right bastard, was sent to Renshou Palace to "serve" Emperor Wendi, and all the staff of the harem were rushed to other rooms.

4. Soon, Wendi died.

There are some opinions that the father was not killed: 1 The secret letter could not have been sent to Wendi by mistake; 2 Yang Guang's dalliance with Mrs. Xuanhua is nothing (Mrs. Xuanhua and Yang Guang have a political alliance, and Yang Guang is not in such a hurry and doesn't know the current situation; Another way of saying it is not Mrs. Xuanhua but Mrs. Hua Rong, indicating that the protagonist of the story is not clear); As a mature politician, Emperor Wen of Han would not be in a hurry to call former Prince Yong Yang. The sentences in 3 and 4 are just interrogative sentences; The idea of patricide has not been mentioned by opponents, but it is the product of official leadership after the establishment of the Li and Tang Dynasties.

The last point didn't hold water at first. In Zu Junyan's Mao Suiwen ("Wagangjun Smith Begging Emperor Yang Di's Campaign"), Yang Di's first crime was to kill his father. The original text is:

First, the emperor grew up and was forbidden to get sick, so he became an owl and poisoned himself. Misfortune is deeper than servants, and misfortune is cooler than business officials. Heaven and earth are unbearable, and people and gods are angry together! In the Sui Dynasty, there was a saying that Yang Di killed his father. Now, the Tang Dynasty officials did not fabricate black and black stories, and even spoke ill of the emperor, at least through the choice of historical materials.

Emperor Yang Di rashly demoted Liu Shu from his official position regardless of his closest relatives (Liu Shu is the son-in-law of Wendi and Yang Di's brother-in-law), which led to his death in exile. Almost at the first time, Yong Yang and his son were granted the death penalty, which more or less reflected that there was a great possibility of major changes in Renshou Palace at that time, and the history pen was like a knife, which could not stop the world at that time and the historians and people of later generations (.

However, as far as the murder of Emperor Wen is concerned, there is really no evidence pointing to Emperor Yang Di. According to the principle of never suspecting a crime, we can't directly identify him as the murderer or the person behind it. Back to this question, there is no evidence that Yang Di killed his father.

It is worth mentioning that Emperor Yang Di appointed Chang Sun-sheng as the bodyguard of the Imperial Palace on the day of Wendi's death, and learned about the entrance guard. Today, he also worshipped the left leading general. This eldest grandson is Sun Chang Wuji's father, the mother brother of Emperor Taizong's Li Shimin Wende, the eldest grandson queen, and the first of the 24 heroes in Lingyange. If Emperor Yang Di killed his father, it would include arming the palace with his cronies. Then Li Shimin's father-in-law can't escape the guilt of the accomplice (the culprit Yang Di is also Li Shimin's father-in-law). Therefore, if we study the content of Sui Shu, although some biographies explicitly or implicitly point out that Yang Di killed his father, the overall statement still points out that Wendi died of natural causes, and only on the day of Yang Di's death can we control the political situation more securely.

Although "no funeral" does not conform to the etiquette system, there is something urgent to obey, which is completely different from Yang Di killing his father Wendi.
