The History of Poetry has a great influence on the literary creation of later generations.

The History of Poems of the Forgotten also mentions for the first time the legend of the flood that has a far-reaching influence on later generations.

The epic tells the story of Sezutura who was inspired by God in his dream, built a big ship ahead of time, led his family and various animals to board the ship and was saved in the flood. Since then, God has given him eternal life.
