Introduction to historical theory
The existence of sex, etc. , have different views and understandings. Marxist historical theory is guided by dialectical materialism and historical materialism. Lenin expounded the great achievements of historical materialism in historical theory, and thought: "The discovery of historical materialism, or more precisely, giving full play to materialism, that is, applying materialism to historical phenomena, eliminated two shortcomings of Israeli historical theory. First, the previous historical theories at most examined people's ideological motives for historical movements, but did not study the causes of these motives, did not touch the objective regularity of the development of social relations system, and did not see that the degree of material production development was the root of this relationship; Second, the historical theory of the past just can't explain people's activities. Only historical materialism enables us to examine the social conditions of people's lives and the changes of these conditions with the accuracy of natural history for the first time. " (Selected Works of Lenin, Volume 2, page 586) Marxist historiography holds that social existence determines social consciousness, material production, material producers and the historical role and status of society.
