Baldwin is a gentle and talented person. Under his rule, Jerusalem lived in harmony with the surrounding ethnic groups, but his life was in jeopardy because of severe leprosy, and he even had to wear a mask to cover his disfigured body.

Although the king is a supporting role in the film, Norton's performance is excellent, and even wearing a mask shows extraordinary performance skills.
