Autobiography is a form in which activists who join the Party report their history, thoughts, study and work experience to the Party organization in written form. Autobiographies of activists joining the Party are important materials for Party organizations to comprehensively, historically and systematically understand activists joining the Party, and also one of the materials needed by Party groups to systematically examine and absorb the new party member.

After applying to join the Party, comrades who request to join the Party should take the initiative to hand over their autobiography to the Party organization. For comrades who have not handed in their autobiographies, the party organization should inform them to write them before development at the latest. Autobiography should generally write the following contents:

1, indicating individuals, major family members and major social relations. Personal information includes name, gender, nationality, date of birth, native place, education, work unit, position, etc. The main members of the family mainly refer to the basic information of parents, spouses and children; For social relations, the occupation and political situation of relatives and friends who are directly related to me politically and economically should be stated.

2. Write your own history clearly. Generally speaking, from elementary school to writing autobiography. It is necessary to write clearly when you studied in what school or where you engaged in what activities, when you joined the work, what position you held in what unit, the starting and ending dates, and reference materials.

What kind of democratic parties, progressive groups, reactionary organizations or feudal superstitious organizations have you joined, what positions you have held, what activities you have participated in, whether there are other political and historical issues, what conclusions you have received from organizations at what level, what rewards and punishments you have received, and other issues that need to be explained to the party organization.

3. Write clearly the evolution of your own thoughts. This is an important part of autobiography, so it should be written concretely and thoroughly, so that party organizations can have a more comprehensive understanding of their own thoughts. According to the central work and main tasks of the Party in various historical periods, as well as some major political events, I write my own ideological evolution process in stages and sub-items.

Party organizations can determine different priorities at different times when inspecting comrades who have joined the Party. At present, we should rewrite our understanding and attitude towards the party's line, principles and policies. By reviewing and combing the process of ideological evolution, we can sum up experiences and lessons, improve our ideological consciousness and make clear the direction of our future efforts.
