The Second Historical Archives of China is a national archives under the National Archives Bureau. Centralized custody of the archives of central state organs and their directly affiliated institutions during the Republic of China (19 12- 1949). Founded in February of 195 1, formerly known as Nanjing Historical Materials Arrangement Office, it belongs to the Institute of Modern History of China Academy of Social Sciences, 65438+.
The museum is located at No.309, Zhongshan East Road, Nanjing.
There are business organizations in the museum, such as the storage department, the utilization department, the sorting and cataloging department, the editing and research department, the Republic of China archives magazine, the technology department, the computer center and the National Republic of China archives cataloging center, which are specialized in the collection, storage, protection, sorting, cataloging, receiving and utilization, compilation and publication of the Republic of China archives.
The museum is equipped with modern equipment, such as cameras, photography, photocopying and computers, as well as various retrieval tools.
With the cancellation of the regulations on charging for the use of archives by the state, the Second Historical Archives actively cooperated from August 20 13, canceling the charging items such as certification fees and copying fees, which set an example for better serving the people.
