The legend of Satan

The history of Satan 1- demons and angels

The Christian king of hell is Satan, also known as the "devil". Satan is not a specific name, but refers to the ghost king, or those who are enemies of God.

As the king of hell, Satan is not the embodiment of justice, but the representative of evil and punishment. This is very different from Yan Luowang, a Buddhist hell. In hell, Yan Luowang exercised his right of justice and presided over punishing evil things, which was completely different in nature. This evil Satan is the root of all evil, ugliness, disgust and pain; As the source of goodness and beauty, joy and joy, he and God are in endless struggle, and the result of this struggle has formed the present situation of the world.

Looking at Satan's life experience, we unexpectedly found that he was an angel in the sky.

In the sixth section of the New Testament, Judas said:

There are also angels who leave their homes. The Lord imprisoned them in chains in darkness forever, waiting for the judgment of the great day.

It was indeed fallen angels who left his place, betrayed God and was locked in the dark. The angel mentioned here is not Satan, because he is not locked, and he is still busy doing bad things around him freely.

Fallen angels is not just one or two or a few, but a group, and Satan is the leader of this dark and degenerate group. There is an account in Isaiah of the Old Testament, which reveals the basic plot about the origin of Satan and the reason for his fall. Its fourteenth chapter, section 12 to section 15, says:

Bright stars, son of the morning, how did you fall from the sky? How can you be cut down to the ground, you who have defeated the nations? You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven, and I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I want to sit on the mountain of the party, at the northernmost part of the north; I will ascend above the high clouds, and I will be equal to the most high. You will fall into the grave, to the depths of the pit.

From this passage, we can vaguely understand some basic facts: Satan is an angel and he is an outstanding angel. He is brighter than the stars, as bright as the morning star. But he is ambitious and arrogant. He not only wants to be above angels, but even covets the throne of God and wants to take its place. So he launched a war, once "defeated all nations", and his arrogance was very arrogant. Finally, he failed and fell to the underworld.
