The history of Beijing Tiantan Park can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty, when the Temple of Heaven was the place where the Ming emperors offered sacrifices to heaven and prayed for blessings. Later, the Qing Dynasty followed this tradition and held a grand ceremony here every year. Tiantan Park consists of Mouqiu, Hall of Praying for the New Year and Artifact Gate. Dome is the most important part, its architectural form is unique and profound, and it is one of the representatives of ancient architectural art in China. As an outstanding cultural heritage of China, Tiantan Park was listed in the World Cultural Heritage List on 1998. So it can be said that Beijing Tiantan Park has a history of more than 500 years.
