Xiao Yanyan, whose real name is Chuo, was born in 953 AD. She is the youngest daughter of the Northern Minister Xiao Siwen. In 969 AD, Liao Yeluxian succeeded to the throne, and 16-year-old Xiao Yanyan was elected as the imperial concubine, and was later made the queen. In 982 AD, Liao died, the eldest son Yelu Longxu was made emperor, and 29-year-old Xiao Yanyan was made queen mother.
Han Derang was born in 94 1 and Xiaoyan 12 years old. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Han Derang's grandfather, Han Zhigu, was taken into exile as a slave in the Liao country. Later, he went to the secretariat and his father, Han Kuangsi, stayed in Nanjing (now Beijing). Han Derang himself is more resourceful, courageous and resourceful, and has extremely high political and military talents. After Han Derang made great achievements, he was given the surname Lu Ye and Long Yun, so he was also named Long Yun.
