The origin of newspapers
The earliest newspaper in China was founded in the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, then called Dibao, with a history of more than 265,438+000 years. The administrative division of the Western Han Dynasty is a county under the central government, and there are counties below the county. Each county has representatives in Chang 'an, Kyoto, and the resident is called "land". The main task of the county representative is to do a good job of communication between the emperor and the county governor, thus producing the "treasure".
During the Eastern Han Dynasty, eunuch Cai Lun invented papermaking, and the distribution of Dibao was further extensive. By the Tang Dynasty, the distribution scope of Dibao had expanded to the whole country, and the readers were mainly local government officials. The contents of treasures in the Tang Dynasty are also richer than before. Besides the emperor's daily life, actions, imperial edicts and meetings, it also includes memorials, appointments, rewards and punishments, rhetoric, encyclicals, pilgrimage and so on.
