2. Geographical conditions: The Silk Road usually refers to the commercial road in northern Europe and Asia, which is in contrast with the ancient tea-horse road in the south. In the Western Han Dynasty, Zhang Qian started from Chang 'an, passed through Guanzhong Plain, Hexi Corridor and Tarim Basin, and reached the central region of the Central Asian river between the Syr Darya River and the Uhur River, Great Iran, which was a land passage connecting Mediterranean countries. It is also called the overland Silk Road, because silk products have the greatest influence on the goods transported westward along this road, including South Road and Wuhu River.
