Stepmother wants to eat roasted yellowbird again, but yellowbird is hard to catch. Just when Wang Xiang was worried, dozens of yellowbirds suddenly flew into his bird net. He was overjoyed and immediately used it to worship his stepmother. His behavior is a much-told story in Shili Village. People all praise Wang Xiang as a rare dutiful son in the world. There is a poem praising: there is a stepmother in the world, but Wang Xiang doesn't; There are still ice molds on the river so far.

2. Sub-road negative instrument

Zhong You was a native of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period. Very filial to parents. He grew up in a poor family and was very frugal. I often eat ordinary wild vegetables, which is very bad. Zhong You thinks it's okay for him to eat wild vegetables, but he is worried that his parents are not well nourished and are in poor health.

There is no rice at home. In order to feed his parents, he has to walk a hundred miles to buy rice, and then carry it home to support his parents. A hundred miles is a long way. Maybe someone can do it once or twice now. However, it is extremely difficult to do this all the year round. However, Zhong You was so happy. In order to let my parents eat, regardless of the cold wind or the scorching sun, they have to go hundreds of miles away to buy rice and then carry it home.

In winter, the weather is very cold, cold and snowy. Zhong You walked on the ice covered with goose feathers and snow, and his feet were stiff with cold. My hand holding the rice bag was really frozen. I stopped, put it in my mouth to keep warm, and then continued on my way.

In summer, when the sun is hot and sweaty, Zhong You won't stop to have a rest, just to go home early and prepare food for his parents. When it rains heavily, Zhong You hides the rice bag in his clothes, preferring to get wet rather than let the heavy rain hit the rice bag; This is especially true when it is windy.

It's not easy to work so hard and persist.

Later, Zhong You's parents died, and he went south to Chu. The king of Chu hired him as an official and gave him very generous treatment. There are hundreds of carriages following you as soon as you go out, and you get a lot of salary every year. The food we eat is very rich, and every day is full of delicious food. Live a rich life.

However, he did not feel happy because of good material conditions, but often lamented. Because his parents are gone. How much he wishes his parents could have a good life with him; But his parents are gone, even if he wants to support his parents hundreds of miles away, it will never be possible.

3. Taste the soup.

The third son of Emperor Gaozu was born to Empress Bo. Eight years after high school (before 180) is the throne. In the name of benevolence and filial piety, he is famous all over the world, and he never slackens in serving his mother. His mother was ill for three years, and he often disappeared and took off his clothes. Let mom bring the soup, and he won't worry until he tastes it himself.

During his 24 years in office, he emphasized the rule of virtue, advocated etiquette, and attached importance to the development of agriculture, which made the Western Han society stable, the population prosperous, and the economy restored and developed. His rule with Emperor Han Jing was called "the rule of culture and scenery."

4. Biting your finger hurts

Zeng Shen, a native of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period, was a proud disciple of Confucius. He is called "Ceng Zi" and is famous for his filial piety. When I was a teenager, my family was poor and I often went to the mountains to collect firewood. One day, there were guests at home, and my mother was at a loss and bit her finger with her teeth. Zeng Shen received the guests and treated them with courtesy. The well-read Zeng Shen once put forward the cultivation method of "I will save myself in three days" (The Analects of Confucius Learning). According to legend, his works include Confucian classics such as "The University" and "The Book of Filial Piety". Later, Confucianism honored him as "Zongsheng".

5. Lei Wen's weeping tomb

Wang Pou, born in Wei and Jin Dynasties (now southeast of Changle, Shandong Province), was well-read and versatile. His father Wang Yi was killed by Si Mazhao. He lived in seclusion as a teacher, and never spent his whole life facing the west. He said that he would never become a minister in A Jin. His mother was afraid of thunder before her death and was buried in the mountains after her death.

Whenever he heard thunder in stormy weather, he ran to his mother's grave, bent down to comfort her and said, "Mom, this is your son. Don't be afraid." When he was teaching, whenever he read Guo E, he often burst into tears and missed his parents.
