Danjiangkou River originates from the south side of Fenghuang Mountain in Qinling Mountains in southern Shaanxi Province, flows through Shaanxi Province, Henan Province and Hubei Province, joins the Hanjiang River in danjiangkou city, Hubei Province, and flows into Danjiangkou Reservoir.
