How to sign the label outside the calligraphy scroll?
The writing method of the outer label of the book is as follows:

1. Usually write the name, calligrapher, signer and date of the work in lowercase letters.

Most of the labels are written horizontally, and a few are written vertically.

3. When writing vertically, the beginning should be one grid lower than the text, and the end should be one grid higher than the text, in contrast to the text. The left and right edges should be one millimeter empty.

4. When writing horizontally, the end should be one space lower than the text, and there should be a gap of one millimeter on both sides.

5. The color of the label is generally dark, mainly black, dark green and dark blue.

6. The size of the label is generally about 7 inches, which is too long to look good and too short to give a hint.

7. The format and content of the label shall be commensurate with the work, and the inscription shall not be improper.

8. When writing labels, it is best to use a brush and small letters, and the handwriting should be clear, dignified and beautiful.

9. When writing labels, the paper should be the same size as the Xuan paper of the work, or slightly larger.

10. When writing a label, write it on the left side of the work, and leave more blank on the left side.
