The first edition of Story Club was published in 1980. During the three years from 1980 to 1982, there were only six issues a year, so a single volume was published every year (still relatively thick). 1984, at the request of readers, the story club was changed from bimonthly to monthly. Because it has been changed into a monthly magazine, the number of issues in a year has changed from 6 to 12, so the annual bound volume is divided into two volumes. This habit lasted until 2003.
In 2004, after it was changed to a bimonthly issue, it was changed from the original 12 issue to 24 issues a year, and then the thinking mode of publishing bound volumes was changed from annual publication to quarterly publication, that is, 6 volumes were published a year, and each volume was bound for 4 issues. In March 2004, Story Club published the first quarterly bound volume. In March 2005, Story Club magazine published the first volume of 2005, which was originally the first bound volume in 2005. Later, the official thought, forget it, or count the total directly from the first bound volume in March 2004 to the first bound volume in 2005, some printed first, and some printed seventh.
Since the price of the single-season bound volume is 10 yuan, and considering that the four-season supplements of spring, summer, autumn and winter are added to the bound volume, from 20 13, the story club magazine will change the four issues as the bound volume to three issues as the bound volume.
Up to now, in February, 2022, it has been published in volumes 135 and 18 yuan.
