What does a horse mean?
The word imam comes from worshippers in Muslim worship, and is also called the leader who leads worshippers and worshippers. It has no other meaning, such as: leader, model, leader, model, prayer host, legal authority, etc. These meanings are caused by the development of language vocabulary. In the first four caliphates, it was a common word, and it was a respectful name for the administrative officials who were generally loved by the people. However, it has been divided since then. For example, a modern historical vocabulary: Ali, an important historical figure in the early days of the Four Caliphs, was honored as Imam Ali by people at that time. What it meant at that time was: Dear Ali. But in modern times, due to the differences in lexical meaning, social system and school theory, the majority (Sunni) and minority (Shia) have different interpretations of Imam Ali. The minority (Shia) believes that Imam Ali is the leader and head of religion (Islam). The majority (Sunnis) think that the meaning of Imam Ali is only the respected Ali. Like many others, Ali was an administrative and military leader and a government official of that era. The difference is that Ali was widely respected by the Muslim masses at that time.
