Cao Guojiu despised his brother's behavior, and at the same time deeply touched the honor and disgrace, success or failure, and wealth of the world, so he chose to become a monk and cultivate immortality. Finally, inspired by Lv Dongbin and Han Zhongli, he became the last disciple of the Eight Immortals.
Second, the real "Cao Guojiu" in history: handsome and versatile.
Cao Shu is indeed the younger brother of Queen Cao. According to historical records, Cao Guojiu is kind-hearted, handsome, proficient in music, can play chess and shoot arrows, and likes to write poems. He is both civil and military, and quite clever.
During the period, because Cao was very strict with his family, his consorts were not allowed to interfere in politics. Most of her family resigned from their official positions, and only Cao Guojiu was an official outside Beijing. It was not until the death of Injong that Cao Guojiu returned to the court. But he is still respectful, obedient and conscientious.
Although Cao Guojiu has no outstanding achievements, he is highly prized as the wife and uncle of the prince. After four dynasties, I was always self-disciplined. After the death of Queen Cao, Cao Guojiu asked him to leave North Korea and return to his hometown. Song Shenzong said reluctantly: When I saw my old uncle, it was like seeing the Queen Mother. Why are you so far away from me? Is it because I did something wrong? ? Cao Guojiu just gave up.
Later, Zongshen built a luxurious house in the south of the city and gave it to him, but Cao Guojiu insisted. Song Shenzong gave the jade belt presented by Korea to the harem, and gave it to him after imitating it with gold. Every time Cao Guojiu's birthday, he is treated as a prime minister and a prince to show his respect.
After Song Zhezong succeeded to the throne, Cao Guojiu was still favored and was named Taibao. He died at the age of 72, and was given the surname, which was the release of the king.
