Xiamen-shenzhen railway started from Xiamen, Fujian, and went to Shenzhen, Guangdong. The planned mileage is about 550 kilometers, the design speed is more than 200 kilometers per hour, and the total investment is about 30 billion yuan. Xiamen-shenzhen railway is a part of the express passenger transport corridor from Shanghai to Shenzhen, and it is the "one vertical" in the "four vertical and four horizontal" express passenger transport corridor of China Railway. Construction is planned to start in 2006, and it is expected to open to traffic on 20 10. The total length is 495.25 kilometers, and there are stations 18 on the whole line, mainly for passenger transport and taking into account freight transport. Xiamen-shenzhen railway is led from Xiamen West Railway Station, along the south side of yingtan-Xiamen Railway, passing through Zhangzhou, Chaozhou, Shantou and Jieyang, and reaching Shenzhen Station. The whole line is 5 1 1.809 km long, passing through 8 prefecture-level cities and covering an area of 42,969 square kilometers. In 2004, the market share of passenger transport along the railway was 4.9%, and the passenger demand was 13.8 times/person-year, which was higher than the national average.

Xiamen-shenzhen railway passes through Fujian province 155.4 18km, and Guangdong province is 356.39km. There are 20 stations: Xiaxi-Qianchang-New jiaomei-Zhangzhou South-Yang Huai-Zhangpu-Xiao Yun-Zhaoan-Raoping-Shaxi (Chaoshan Central Hub Station)-Chaoyang-Puning-Kuitan-Lufeng-Shanwei-Yuhoumen-Huidong-Huizhou South-Longgang-New Shenzhen.

The total investment of the project is estimated to be about 30 billion yuan, which is laid according to the first-class double track, with a design speed of 200 km/h and a speed-up space of about 250 km/h reserved. The project will be completed and put into use on 20 10.

Constructing Xiamen-Shenzhen 3-hour Economic Circle

It is understood that the total length of xiamen-shenzhen railway is about 50 1.7 km, connecting eight cities including Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Chaozhou, Jieyang, Shantou, Shanwei and Huizhou, with a total investment of nearly 28.83 billion yuan. The railway will extend to the residential areas and newly developed areas of relevant cities.

The railway department said that some railways passing through the urban area will be built into elevated railways.

Xiamen-shenzhen railway passenger trains run at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, with a reserved speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
