1, Preface to Lanting Wang Xizhi
Our calligraphy is exquisite. Feng Chengsu's copy of "Double Hook Profile Fill" is the best copy in existence. The ancients called Wang Xizhi's Preface to the Lanting Pavilion as "the breeze comes out of the sleeve and the moon falls into my arms". The full text consists of 28 lines and 324 words, each of which is "floating like a cloud, charming like Youlong, ups and downs, endless changes", which has changed the simple and steady book style since the Han and Wei Dynasties and opened a precedent for beauty and convenience. It is magnificent and seems to be natural. The author's demeanor, temperament, mind and sentiment have also entered the work.
2. Yan Zhenqing's "Sacrificing the Nephew"
Yan Zhenqing's "Sacrificing a Nephew" was written in a state of extreme grief and indignation, regardless of the handwork of pen and ink, so the words fluctuated with the calligrapher's mood, which was purely a natural expression of spirit and peacetime labor. This is rare in the whole history of calligraphy. It can be said that "Sacrificing a Nephew" is one of the original works with great historical and artistic value, which is precious.
3, "Many Pagodas Monument" Yan Zhenqing
"Many Pagodas Monument", written by Yan Zhenqing at the age of 44, is well-structured, painted with dots, beautiful and vigorous. Although vigorous and vigorous Yan Kai style has not been formed, this tablet has laid the basic features of Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy style. It is the earliest regular script work in Yan Shu, with stable and correct structure, and it is one of the representative works of "respecting the law" in the Tang Dynasty.
4, "Jiuchenggong Liquan Ming" Ou Yangxun
The inscription on Liquan in Jiuchenggong fully embodies the characteristics of Ou Yangxun's calligraphy, with rigorous structure, roundness and elegance. This tablet is noble and solemn in calligraphy, strict in statutes, square in brushwork, rigorous in structural arrangement, connecting the preceding with the following, giving way to the left and right, partial and dangerous, dignified as a whole, without any disorder or collapse. The pen is neat, compact, stable and dangerous.
5. Zhang Xu of the Heart Sutra
Zhang Xu's cursive heart sutra was first seen in inscriptions, and Zhang Xu wrote it under the Heart Sutra of Tang Cao. Before that, there was a cursive heart sutra moved by Sun Ren, the magistrate of Ming Dynasty, from Baita Temple. The stone carvings in Guanzhong recorded both cursive heart sutra, heart sutra, stomachache and thousands of broken tablets. Zhang Xu's cursive script Heart Sutra was first published in the tablet table of the forest of steles in the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), and its whereabouts are unknown since then.
