Fire thief dragon

It is a feathered, bird-like carnivorous dinosaur. Its type specimen is the only fossil, which was found in Provence, southern France, in 1992, and only a few bones were found. At present, fossils such as teeth, toes, claws, arms and spine have been found.

This dinosaur is the first raptor found in Europe. Like other members of his family, birds of prey have extremely sharp teeth and claws, and may hunt in groups or eat carrion for a living like modern vultures. The skeleton structure of fire raptor is very similar to several raptors and pygmy dinosaurs discovered in early Cretaceous in China. It lived in Europe in the late Cretaceous and should be the last dinosaur on earth. Its name means "Fire Thief". This dinosaur is about nine feet long and weighs seven kilograms. In addition to sharp teeth and strong jaws, the second toe of the fire raptor has huge claws, which are enough to kill the enemy. This special dinosaur often appears in some old documentaries.

Stegosaurus (herbivorous quadruped dinosaur in late Jurassic)

Stegosaurus is a huge dinosaur, a herbivore, living in the late Jurassic and early Cretaceous. It has a row of huge bone plates on its back and a dangerous tail with four thorns to resist predators. It is about 12 meter long, 7 meters high and weighs 4 tons.

People think that they live on the plains and live together with other herbivores (such as Liang Long) in a nomadic way.

The remains of the original stegosaurus and its ancestors are still few, so the origin of stegosaurus is still unknown. There are some fossils belonging to stegosaurus in the lower layer of Morrison formation, which are millions of years earlier than the survival time of stegosaurus. These remains and similar marine dinosaur fossils all appeared in the Zimori period. The earliest Lexus dragon was Le Subilong, which appeared in the Oxford clay stratum of England and France from the early to the middle of Calloway.

The earlier and more primitive genus Huayanglosaurus, the only genus of Huayanglosaurus, appeared in the Middle Jurassic in China, about1650,000 years ago, about 20 million years earlier than the genus Stegosaurus. Earlier there was Scelidosaurus, who lived in the early Jurassic, about1900,000 years ago. This dinosaur has the characteristics of Ankylosaurus and Stegosaurus. Leave Germany

Stegosaurus actually has 17 sets and 4 pieces.

Pterosaur is a small quadruped dinosaur. Discovered earlier in Arizona, USA, Diplodocus had non-absolute bipedal mobility. These dinosaurs were small in size and light in armor, and were closely related to Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus. In addition, in France, there may be a footprint left by an early armored dinosaur, about1950,000 years ago.

Horned dragon

Ceratosaurus is very similar in shape to Triceratops, but smaller in size, but it has a more exaggerated and gorgeous neck shield than Triceratops, but its shield is hollow, so scientists think that its shield is not strong enough, and it should be used to intimidate enemies or as peacock's tail to courtship. Ceratosaurus is a kind of Ceratosaurus with a long folded structure. It can weigh up to 2 tons and is about 4.8 meters long, which is only about half that of Triceratops. However, the wrinkled bone structure around its neck is longer than that of Triceratops. At the same time, there is a round tumor-like protuberance with a diameter of 5 cm, which is distributed on the back. Related to Pentagosaurus, it is another kind of ceratosaurus with wrinkled leaves. It has three angular protrusions and two seemingly angular buccal protrusions.

The Beoni Ceratosaurus skeleton located in the Royal Ontario Museum is divided into two subfamilies: Ceratosaurus with short head shield (such as Ceratosaurus) and Ceratosaurus with long head shield (such as Ceratosaurus). In addition to the large and long head shield, Ceratosaurus usually has a long face and mouth, and some paleontologists point out that they can have more plant choices when eating. Long-headed shield is a feature of dinosaurs in the later stage of evolution, but Ceratosaurus lived in the late Cretaceous 76 million years ago. Ceratosaurus's head shield is described as heart-shaped because its head shield structure contains two large holes in the center, which looks like a "period".

On the head shield of some ceratosaurus, there are some small bony processes on the edge of the neck shield, which extend from the edge of the head shield. The color of the hood may be very bright to attract attention or as a courtship. However, because its head shield is large and thin (because it is mainly interosseous skin), it is difficult to provide defense function. It can be used to regulate body temperature. When a group of Ceratosaurus is hunted, such as Tyrannosaurus Rex, the male Ceratosaurus may form a circle and use his head shield to form a once terrible battle.

Like many Ceratosaurus, Ceratosaurus had three main horns, one on the nose and two on the forehead, but different fossil discoveries produced different results. A kind of open-horned dragon named C. kaiseni has a long frontal angle; On the other hand, C. belli has only a short frontal angle. Although they were originally considered as different species, they may be males with long frontal horns and females with short frontal horns.

Interestingly, paleontologists found some skin fossils of Ceratosaurus. There are many bone nodules (intradermal osteogenesis) on this skin, 5-6 on each side. However, there is no way to know more about Ceratosaurus from this specimen, especially its color.
