What is A-Level?

A-Level is an Advanced Level in the whole process, and it is an advanced level course of British general secondary education certificate examination. It is often called the British golden education system. British students usually start this course at the age of 16 or a little older, and they can enter the university after successfully completing this course. This course is equivalent to the last two years of high school in China. You can understand it as the curriculum of senior three and senior four in senior high schools in China.

Most British students need two years to complete this course, but students with strong ability can sometimes complete it in a shorter time. This course requires students to study three or four major courses and take graduation exams. Those who pass the exams can enter universities. Students' test scores and the A-Level courses they choose largely determine whether they can enter the ideal university to study the degree courses they choose.

P. students:

Basically, no college can offer all the courses (at least I have never heard of it or seen it), so at most, you can take the exam during the exam and then review it yourself. . Self-study

So when you choose a university, you should see clearly what courses they offer you, and you should also think about what you want to study.

3。 Is the A-LEVEL course easy to learn?

Mathematics is relatively simple.

Learn economics and management.

A-LEVEL, I think as long as you study hard, there will be no problem. Mathematics and physics in Britain are very shallow, and the difficulty is incomparable with that in China. On the other hand, they cover a wide range, such as calculus in mathematics and statistics. ...

Generally speaking, I don't think there will be any problems. Language is basically not an obstacle if you study mathematics and physics.

4。 School problems.

School starts in September, and you will go about half a year earlier, which is 2. If you take the exam in China in March, it will take about three months to study, because there are some courses in professional languages and local dialects. In Britain, it is generally necessary to study privately, because education is good and foreign universities are good, and many of them are private.

A-Level is an exam in Britain, of course, it is used in Britain. If you want to go to America, you must take the SAT.

There is no unified national college entrance examination in the United States. Scholistic Assessment Test (SAT), sponsored by Educational Testing Service, is used by most universities as a standard to compare different regions, different high schools and different scoring systems.

SAT is divided into two parts, one is a general part, including mathematics and English, called SATI;; Others are single-subject exams, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, foreign languages (including Chinese, Japanese, German, French, Spanish) and so on. , collectively referred to as SAT Ⅱ Ⅱ. SAT Ⅰ I scores 800 in mathematics and 800 in English (minimum 200), so the full score is 1600; The SAT score is 800. The score of SAT is relative, and the median is 500 before 1995. This standard of 500 points was set by 194 1. That year, there were 1 10,000 students in private high schools in the United States taking the SAT with an average score of 500. So if your SAT Ⅰ I score is 5 10 in English and 490 in math, it means that more than half of people are not as good at English as you, but better at math. 1999, more than 2 million high school students in the United States took the SAT Ⅰ I exam, which was still measured by this standard more than 50 years ago. This year's national intermediate scores are: English: 428;
