On Sunday, my parents and I visited the Handan Museum. Handan Museum was founded in 1984, a national second-class museum and a patriotic education base in Hebei Province. The predecessor of the main building is "Long Live the Victory of Mao Zedong Thought" built in 1968, and now it is a cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province.
When I arrived at the museum, I couldn't wait to get in. There are many things in Handan Museum, including magnetic mountain culture, Zhao culture, China coins, Handan ancient stone carving art and Cizhou kiln porcelain. Magnetic mountain culture's discovery is a great achievement of Neolithic archaeology in China, which fills the gap in early Neolithic archaeology in China.
What attracts us most is the "national security" in Handan-the national key protected unit photo exhibition in Handan. It is known from the pictures that the Dingjinyan Danguo Temple site, an important part of the northern Qi cultural belt art, a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province, and the Longwang Temple (also known as Chorakuji Temple), one of the few existing large-scale wooden structures in the Yuan Dynasty, provide rare physical materials for the study of Longshan culture, including the site of Cixian Village and the ancient city of Handan, the capital of Zhao State in the Warring States Period.
Xiangtangshan Grottoes have the special structure of large tombs in the Warring States Period, including Zhao Yugou Cemetery in Zhao State and Lincun Tomb in soil cave tomb in the early Warring States Period, which fills the gap in Hebei archaeology, has an artistic treasure house for studying Buddhism, architecture, sculpture, art and calligraphy, and has a "first wall sutra group in the world"? The cliff stone carving in China has the largest scale, the earliest construction time and the widest influence area. It is the historical and cultural relic of offering sacrifices to Nuwa, Shexian Wagong.
Walking out of the museum, I was thinking: we don't know enough about the culture of Handan. We really should go to the museum.
