Some people think that Emperor Xianzong Chenghua is incompetent, but it is not. This is a promising and wise master. Although he has many constraints, he skillfully uses Wang Zhi, a professional clown, and really does a lot of practical things. But history books are not necessarily written by winners, but by scholars, with serious consequences. Thus, Wang Zhi became a traitor and Emperor Chenghua became a puppet. The decline of science and technology in Ming Dynasty was the most serious in Hongzhi period. Wang Wensu, a great mathematician, has a deep understanding of this. Born in Chenghua and with good family conditions, Wang Wensu devoted his life to mathematical research, only to find that he had no capital to publish books and express his opinions at all in his prime. After all, he is unpopular, and no one wants to publish them without their own investment. It is Wang Wensu's understanding and historical necessity that science and technology prosper, the country is strong, science and technology decline and the country naturally falls behind. I think when Emperor Yongle sent Zheng He to the Western Seas, evil Confucianism slandered money, food and manpower. However, during the Yongle period, how many infrastructure projects were built and how many large-scale northern expeditions were organized, and disaster relief was still achieved. Where did the money come from? As evil Confucianism said, isn't that a long time ago? What is the truth of the matter? It was Emperor Yongle who made a living economically, built ships and organized large-scale voyages. Of course, he spent a lot of money, but I'm afraid the gains were even greater. More importantly, large-scale actions organized by the state will inevitably require a large number of scientific and technological talents, including wars. Hongwu Yongle has never fallen behind in science and technology, including military industry, and is far ahead of the world. During the Chenghua period, some people proposed to follow the example of Emperor Yongle's voyage to the Western Ocean. This shows that there are still talents at this time, and on the other hand, national strength is also allowed. As a result, an old man named Liu Daxia tried to obstruct Zheng He by hiding (or burning) his navigation materials, but failed. Then the Ming Dynasty entered the darkest so-called Hongzhi Zhongxing of Quanming Technology.

In a generation, the decline of science and technology is easy, and it takes more efforts to get back on the horse. The technology in the late Ming Dynasty was considerable, and even lasted until the early Qing Dynasty. In the middle of Ming Dynasty, science and technology was the biggest black hole, which began with the so-called Hongzhi Zhongxing.

During Hongzhi's reign, there were frequent floods, which almost shook the foundation of the country. However, this is not only a natural disaster, but also a man-made disaster. Evil Confucianism mistakes the country, and science and technology go backwards. Even the water conservancy projects in the agricultural system lack attention. A gentry is arrogant and willful, ignoring the overall situation for small profits and destroying water conservancy projects for more cultivated land. As a result, floods broke out and civilians lost their homes. The reason is the corruption of Korean literati and the ignorance of gentry. In short, the religious atmosphere prevails. Some people say that Confucianism is not a religion, but in fact Confucianism originated from religion. In the Zhou Dynasty, Confucianism was the real religion, and it was a great retrogression for Zhou to replace Shang itself. Because of Confucius, Confucianism was later improved by Confucius with the Central Plains culture, and it was integrated into a hundred schools of thought. This is Confucianism. Therefore, later Confucian scholars said: Heaven does not give birth to Zhong Ni, and eternity is like a long night. Because religion is the enemy of science and technology and the source of primitive ignorance, it is precisely because of the emergence of Confucius and Confucianism that a neutral buffer has been formed. However, the inferiority of Confucianism itself often happens occasionally in later generations, so it is inevitable that evil Confucianism will mistake the country. For example, during the Song and Ming Dynasties, Confucianism itself had two sides. Zhu Taizu once played a positive role, and then gradually deteriorated, and even promoted the country, until finally Lindong ruined the country. However, the Heaven and Earth Society in Chen Yonghua is also a Confucian organization, but its influence is extremely far-reaching. In the end, the tomb was dug for Manchu, which was caused by the suppression of science and technology. During the Zhengde period after Hongzhi and even in the early years of Jiajing, technology was not good, but Emperor Sejong Jiajing was still very successful, and technology was restored in Jiajing Dynasty. So it is not so much Hongzhi Zhongxing as Hongzhi Middle School, but Jiajing Zhongxing. Although Emperor Xianzong Sejong was not as good as Hongwu Yongle, he was definitely the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and both of them were cured much more than Hong. But obviously, these two were not as obedient as Hongzhi, especially Emperor Sejong, who still manipulated and used Wang Zhi to suppress evil Confucianism. It is normal for Emperor Sejong to be directly overbearing and vilified. Not only the Emperor Sejong himself suffered from evil Confucianism, but also his ancestors were implicated. Emperor Sejong named Emperor Taizong Yongle Chengzu Temple, and then there were all kinds of rumors about the mystery of Emperor Yongle's biological mother, such as Mongols and Koreans. There are indications that all kinds of black materials about Yongle Emperor originated from Jiajing Dynasty.
