There is a saying that literary creation comes from life above life. Art comes from the understanding of life, and it cannot be made up without reality. How to understand that art is higher than life? How high, to what extent and degree? There is an explanation on the internet: it means that art strips off life layer by layer, discovers the truth or essence of life and expresses it. Art is extracted from life, but it is not an abstraction of life, keeping the original flavor of life without being rigid; Art does not copy life, but has depth and significance.

Without life prototype or phenomenon, there is no source and inspiration of artistic creation. In other words, all the little things or things that happened in life are the providers and prototypes of artistic materials. Writers make a novel or other literary works more vivid and intriguing through artistic means, concise language description, orderly story arrangement, rendering, exaggeration and concentrated contradiction.

All the above are facts, but we can't ignore one point, that is, the art that reflects reality should respect and embody the truth of history, otherwise it will become a laughing stock if it is fabricated. This statement has been said by predecessors, and it was triggered by two recent film and television works today.

First, I recently watched a TV series called Ordinary Years. The first plot of the play is that Li Dabao, an unmarried young worker who won the first prize in a technical competition in a cotton mill, fell in love with Zhang Duoduo, an unmarried dancer who came to perform in the factory. Li Dabao couldn't help but open the curtains in the women's locker room, which was mistaken for hooliganism. After hearing Li Dabao's complaint, the director suggested that you get married within a week to prove that you didn't play hooligans. After consulting with colleagues and getting Zhang Duoduo's understanding and support, Li Dabao decided to get married on a fake basis. As a witness, the factory director said a lot of auspicious words to celebrate and bless their wedding, but he just didn't mention and show the marriage certificate that can prove this most important and crucial marriage. It is not the carelessness or forgetfulness of the factory director, but that the script is compiled in this way. This plot has to be said to be an unavoidable injury that the director deliberately ignored. In the early 1980s, not to mention whether it was possible for the director of a factory with thousands of people to be a witness for a young worker. More importantly, according to the situation at that time, how could there be a marriage certificate that was not displayed at the wedding? Which factory director is so careless that he forgot the quarrel? In addition, Li Dabao was suspected of hooliganism and was eager to "get married". The whole thing is like teasing you and fooling a fool. It is a shoddy work that cannot be faked! Today, people in their fifties and sixties will never forget that year. Is it possible not to read the marriage certificate at the wedding? It can only be said that the screenwriter and director of the play fabricated the story, which made people shake their heads.

Secondly, the back cover of China's passport in the movie "Wolf Warriors 2" released a while ago reads: "People and citizens of China: Don't give up when you are in danger overseas! Please remember that behind you, there is a strong motherland! " As a China person, I am proud to read it, and I feel extremely excited. The motherland is our backer! As soon as the film was released, some viewers questioned it. This is not on the back of the current passport. Later, more people confirmed this. A few days later, the online news said that the border inspection in Beijing indicated that it was invalid to smear the damaged passport at will. It seems that this is another successful fabrication by a screenwriter or director for the needs of the plot. The motive is well-intentioned, in order to encourage Chinese people to appreciate the country, but it is not true after all. Strictly speaking, it is an act of altering a passport without authorization. Whether it is suspected of breaking the law is unknown, at least if it is, the passport has expired.

The public broadcast of these two little things on the silver screen may mislead the audience and make them mistakenly think that marriage was like that at that time and there was no need for a marriage certificate. Today, this sentence is printed on the back cover of China citizens' passports. Really? It should be said that it is not processing, refining or exaggerating on the basis of reality, nor is it the director's ignorance or negligence, but it is fabricated at random for the needs of the plot.

Art is higher than life, but no matter how high the law is, you can't make it up without the background of historical basic truth, can you? Some can be refined, exaggerated, shaped and rendered, while others can't, just like historical truth. For example, before human beings invented the electric light, you should say that some people were studying under the electric light at that time, before the invention of the airplane, some people traveled by plane, the end of World War II was 1945, not the year before, the Internet was in recent decades, not a long history since ancient times, and so on. This reflects a logical relationship between cause and effect, but ignores this point, that is, no matter how vivid, eye-catching, moving and sensational the plot is, it is useless. The reason is very simple, fake is fake, and only entertainment can't be taken seriously. If a drama reflecting reality has a plot that can't be ignored, it is a serious injury, which may become a myth or a new version of a strange story in a strange studio. On the other hand, it also shows that any artistic works that deviate from the historical truth are lifeless, and grandstanding is also a flash in the pan, and few people will remember it in the future.
