Spanish fleet (English: Spanish: Grande y Felicisima Armada or Armada Invencible, that is, the luckiest fleet or armada and armada) is a famous Spanish maritime fleet in the late 6th century. The Armada has about 150 large warships, more than 3,000 cannons, and a powerful maritime fleet with tens of thousands of soldiers. This fleet spans the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and proudly calls itself the "Armada".
The Armada was sent by King Philip II of Spain in 1588 in an attempt to conquer England but failed. The battle of the Armada was one of the large-scale battles in the Spanish-English War, and it was also the first aggressive attack intention in the course of the war. This war is also the most famous war in British history. In the Battle of Gravlin, the Spanish ship was sunk by the British Navy led by Francis Drake with a secret weapon, namely eight fireboats.
When the Armada was defeated by the British, it wanted to retreat to the south, but it was not feasible because of the strong south wind. The huge fleet had to go north with the wind and finally bypassed the island of Great Britain and the west coast of Ireland. When I returned home, there were only 43 ships. Due to the loss of more than 100 large warships and 14000 soldiers, Spain in its heyday stagnated, and England became a maritime power, which opened the heyday of Elizabeth I.
