Jiuji Village is located in the middle of two mountains, with a stream in the middle, surrounded by mountains and trees. There are four natural villages, namely Jiuji Dazhai, Duimen Village, Vientiane Village and Yeung Yi A Village. Located in the southwest of Jiuyang Township, Jianhe County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, it is10.5km away from the location of township organs, adjacent to Jiudiu Village in the east and Xideng Village in Zhao Fang Township, Taijiang County in the west. The total area of the village is 47-3 hectares, with mountains and hills as the main areas. The whole village governs 17 villagers' groups, with 355 households 1577 people. Miao people account for 99% and 8% of the total population respectively, and the cultivated land area is 765,438+00 mu.

For a long time, Jiuji people silently guarded and passed on their own farming culture in this land, and lived an unparalleled life in Taoyuan. In 2008, it was listed as 100 national ethnic cultural village by the people's government of Qiandongnan prefecture, and was nominated as a world cultural heritage protection village by the state in August 20 10.
