Background: After the August 7th meeting, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China sent Mao Zedong back to Hunan to lead the autumn harvest uprising.

Venue: Hunan-Jiangxi border.

What happened: Autumn Harvest Uprising broke out on the Hunan-Jiangxi border, and it began to capture the county seat, causing serious losses, and abandoned the plan to attack Changsha.

March into the countryside where the enemy's ruling power is weak and reach Jinggangshan.

Significance: Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base, the first rural revolutionary base in China, was established.

Opened up a revolutionary road with China characteristics.

Joining forces in Jinggangshan: 1928, Zhu De and Chen Yi led their troops to join forces with the revolutionary army of workers and peasants led by Mao Zedong.
