The Sino-Soviet Friendship Tower is located in the square in front of Lushun Museum in Guangrong Street, Lushunkou District. 1957 was completed on February 24th, and the tower is 22m high. At the top of the tower are white clouds and pigeons spreading their wings, symbolizing the unity and friendship between the Chinese and Soviet peoples. ? Premier Zhou Enlai personally laid the foundation stone for the tower, inscribed "the cornerstone of Sino-Soviet friendship", which was a symbol of Sino-Soviet friendship in 1950s. The tower is a regular dodecagon, and there are 20 vivid portraits of Chinese and Soviet people with a height of1.2m carved on the lower part of the tower. The two-story tower foundation is made of granite with steps on all sides. The tower body and railings are carved with white snowflake rock, and the base of the tower body has four reliefs, namely Tiananmen Square, Kremlin, steel-making blast furnace, Lushun port scenery, Friendship Farm and other patterns.
