History of Guilin:
In the sixth year of Ding Yuan in Han Dynasty (BC 165438+ BC 0 1), Shi 'an County was established, belonging to Lingling County of Jingzhou. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was changed to Shi 'an Houguo. In the Three Kingdoms, it belonged to Shu first, and then to Wu. In the first year of Ganlu (265), Shi 'an County was established, and the county seat is now Guilin. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, he was the general manager of Lingnan Guizhou. In the 4th year of Tang Wude (62 1), Li Jingxiu built a city in the south of Duxiufeng. The distribution map of Guilin in Song Dynasty belongs to Guangxi, Guangnan West Road, and later to Jingjiang Prefecture. The Yuan Dynasty belonged to Jingjiang Road, Zhongshu Province, Guangxi.
Ming and Qing Dynasties belonged to Guilin, Guangxi. In the Republic of China, it belonged to Guangxi Province.
