Wei, a historical figure, is a character in the TV series The Legend of Kaifeng House. There is no such person as Wei in the history of Song Dynasty, but he is a virtual figure. Based on the classic "Three Heroes and Five Righteousness", the TV series tells the story of Bao Zheng, a young man, breaking free from the shackles of decadent officialdom, solving bizarre mysteries and carrying out the anti-corruption struggle to the end. Wei was finally beheaded in the play.
