The reason why Cao Cao is famous in the "tomb-robbing world" is that I think it has a lot to do with popular tomb-robbing novels. These familiar names, such as "Touching a captain" and "Faqiu corps commander", originated from Cao Cao.
Besides Cao Cao, who are the notorious grave robbers in history? Please read the following:
First, Wu Zixu.
Wu Zixu is well known, but he is definitely a vicious man. It is doomed that the living will not let the dead go. Wu Zixu's father and brother were killed by King Chu Ping, and he went to the State of Wu. Later, with the tacit cooperation of Wu and Sun Wu, Wu conquered the capital of Chu.
King Chu Ping, who just died, was also dug up by Wu Zixu. It is said that Wu Zixu was whipped 300 times before he stopped. That's how "whipping the corpse 300" came about. When his father and brother were killed, he actually solved it in this vicious way.
Not for money, but for revenge, Wu Zixu opened up a brand-new theoretical basis in grave robbing and digging.
Second, Liu Qu
Liu Qu is not well-known, but he is definitely the number one tomb robber. Liu Qu, the descendant of Liu Bang, was named King of Guang Chuan. Liu Qu has a noble status, so he doesn't worry about eating and drinking. The reason why he robbed the tomb was "fun".
The pastime of ancient nobles was nothing more than drinking and having fun, while Liu Qu was quite different. His greatest hobby is "swinging a sledgehammer", and he takes a bunch of guys to dig ancient tombs when he has nothing to do. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, he excavated a large number of tombs in Wei Xiangwang, Jinlinggong and Luanshu.
What can be dug, what can be cut and what can be sawed? Perhaps only he knows how much the ancient tombs in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period were damaged by Liu Qu! In this respect, Liu Qu is simply a scum among scum.
Third, Huang Chao.
According to records, Huang Chao touched at least the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang, the Mausoleum of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty and the dry tombs of Wu Zetian and Tang Gaozong. However, the process of using hundreds of thousands of troops to rob tombs in Huang Chao was not smooth, at least the Mausoleum of the First Qin Dynasty and the Dry Mausoleum were well preserved.
Huang Chao used 400,000 people to steal Ganling, but the cemetery chosen by Yuan Tiangang and Li was so solid that Ganling escaped. The 40-meter-deep "Huang Chao ditch" is still visible!
Fourth, Wen Tao.
Wen Tao was an envoy in the late Tang Dynasty. He was probably the person who robbed the most tombs in ancient times, and he basically destroyed all the tombs in the Tang Dynasty. Of course, this does not include Wu Zetian's strong dry mausoleum. As for why Gan Ling fled, Song Rencheng Dachang's "Archaeological Compilation" is recorded like this:
"The history of Tao Wen is close to the Tang Mausoleum, but it can't be close, and there is wind and rain."
There is a similar record in Tao Wenchuan's History of the New Five Dynasties:
"Tao has been in the town for seven years, and the tombs of the Tang Dynasty are in the town. It is necessary to explore ... only dry tombs can't be built."
Wang Xizhi's most famous Preface to the Lanting Pavilion was probably destroyed by Wen Tao. I only hope that Preface to Lanting is not in Zhaoling of Emperor Taizong, but in the magical dry mausoleum. If the Preface to Lanting Collection is really destroyed, Wen is the sinner of our nation!
Five, Yang Tiaozhen Yoga
Yang Ji Jia Zhen is a monk in the Western Regions. This person is a typical "flower monk" without any sympathy. Yang Tizhen Jia had a good relationship with Kublai Khan. 1285, Kublai Khan made him the chief photographer of Buddhism in Jiangnan.
Yang Tiaozhen's grave robberies are mainly the imperial tombs, ministers' tombs and concubines' tombs in the Southern Song Dynasty. He is a real villain. It's not enough to take all the gold and silver. His bones were randomly abandoned in the wilderness. The poor monarch minister of the Southern Song Dynasty endured the pain of national subjugation before his death and suffered this humiliation after his death.
The most unacceptable thing is that Yangtiao Town also took Song Lizong's head away. After he cleaned it up, the head became his drinking fountain.
A gentleman makes money in a right way. May the shady robbery disappear under Lang Lang Gan Kun as soon as possible!
