However, Queen Dugu was smart since childhood and learned things quickly. She not only has her own unique views on politics, but also is very strict with herself. After this incident, she has been accompanying her husband, but the cruel shadow of political struggle has not affected the feelings of the young couple.
Later, Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty finally established the Sui Dynasty and became the founding emperor with his strategy and opportunity. The Queen Dugu is still wholeheartedly with her husband. She advocated frugality and vigorously developed the economy of the Sui Dynasty. At that time, the country was rich and the people were safe. At that time, people even called Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty and Queen Dugu "two saints" because Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty could not be proclaimed emperor without this wife.
However, the Queen Dugu is very jealous and is a famous "jealous lady". She thinks that Jiangshan was shot down by herself and her husband. At the beginning of their acquaintance, Emperor Wendi of Sui also promised: "Dugu will be the only wife in her life." However, there is no one who doesn't care, not to mention that he is the emperor of the Son of Heaven. According to records, Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty made a major "mistake" when Queen Dugu was in her fifties.
At that time, Queen Dugu was seriously ill, and Emperor Wendi of Sui felt that the other party didn't have the energy to take care of himself, so he went to pamper a maid-in-waiting Wei Chi who he had long admired. Who knows, Queen Dugu is full of eyeliner in the palace and knows the emperor's every move like the back of his hand. "You can't allow others to sleep beside the sofa." After this incident was discovered by Queen Dugu, she directly executed Miss Wei Chi.
This move also led to the back of Queen Dugu as the first strange jealousy in history.
Emperor Wendi was obviously unhappy when he learned about this, but she didn't do anything to Queen Dugu, just ran away from home and calmed down for a while. Later, Queen Dugu asked the minister to help lobby and persuade the emperor to return to the DPRK. Finally, Emperor Wendi went down the steps and returned to the imperial court.
From an individual point of view, the jealousy of Queen Dugu is rooted in love. Some psychologists believe that true love does not exclude some emotions that can be classified as sexual jealousy. Dugu, who is infatuated with Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty, hopes that her husband's love can also focus on himself and really live a monogamous life. "Sex is essentially exclusive ... Marriage based on sex is essentially individual marriage."
Even though there were numerous harem beauties, Emperor Wendi of Sui never married a concubine when Queen Dugu was alive, so Dugu gave birth to five sons and five daughters. Even so, the official history admitted for the first time that Queen Dugu was a wife who had been loved by her husband all her life: "The emperor didn't become a hero, and she was very early, kind and harmonious, and never wavered!" It's never easy to prepare for a rainy day and be respectful. Gaozu and Houyi get along. Gaozu and Guhou love each other very much.
That is to say, after the death of Queen Dugu, Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty braved the cold in his later years to travel hundreds of miles in person, just to send his beloved wife to Tailing Cemetery.
I think at the beginning, he took back Du Gushi, the bride of 14 years. Since then, this woman has become a part of his flesh and blood. Now, separated by Yin and Yang, he will accompany his beloved Queen Dugu on the last journey of his life.
It is said that after the death of Queen Dugu, Emperor Wendi was in great pain. In memory of his beloved wife, he built a Zen temple. Moreover, the only Buddha tooth of Sakyamuni was sent to the temple for support. "Ask the world what love is, and teach people to be committed to life and death", which is the most touching love story throughout the ages. It's not a vicissitudes of life, nor a sunset. How do you know that it's the hardest to stay?
Two years later, Emperor Wendi of Sui also died. Before he died, he chose to be buried in Tailing with Dugu.
